The menu was limited for vegan & vegetarian. Wasn’t given prior warning that they are renovating by adding new rooms and a pool which can be seen from main restaurant/bar. We didn’t mind it but it may put others off, better to have advised before we got there.
Great proximity to the orangutans, sun bears & RDC. Lovely natural setting, rooms much more spacious and luxurious than expected, I thought it would be more basic for being more remote in Sepilok. Pretty good value beers around £2.80. Saw monitor lizard & kingfisher in the water. Very peaceful.

Lodges were spacious cool clean and brand new bathrooms. Resort location is perfect. Much quieter than the other resorts.

And the pool they’re building will be a bonus for future guests!
The hotel is perfectly situated for visits to the orang-utan and sun bear rehabilitation centres. The staff were very friendly and helpful in booking taxis/tours etc; and we really enjoyed the ambience of the lodge.

Beautiful chalet . Feels rustic and luxurious at the same time. Good choice of western and Asian food. Perfect location right next to the Orangutang and Sunbear Sanctuaries.

Location, the staff were amazing, rooms, facilities were excellent. Food very good, especially the burger, and beef and chicken curry. The hotel arranged our trips, and taxis, all drivers were excellent. Definitely would recommend.

This is a rainforest location with staff that are very welcoming friendly and eager to please. It is clear that the staff come from the local community, please don’t expect 5* training but do expect good training with an authentic friendly twist.
