Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandIn the evening the staff had a lot of work to do, so I had to wait quite long time for my order from the bar. It was also a bit loud at the entrance, but not so disturbing in the end.
It was a quite good option in a good price. The location is great, 240m to the metro station. There is also a parking lot. I've stayed with a dog and there was no problem with at. Also self check-in and fast check-out are great options, because everything is going really fast. There is also a kitchen available for everyone, although it could be more tidy.

Luxembourgthe hostel is understaffed. The staff at the reception was helpful but there was a ver long cue at the reception and the staff was super tired. Do not use the lockers!! since I arrived early, I wanted to use the lockers, put my 4 euros and the locker did not work. I informed the staff and they said “lockers do not belong to us, please call locker company” :)
The facility is good, it is great for short stays with friends

GermanyI was told I needed to either rent bed linens, or bring my own. Since I didn't bring my own, I paid 4 EUR to rent some. But when I got to my room, there were already fresh linens and towels available. The reception was unable to refund my money for the linens I no longer needed. They gave me a coffee as recompense, but I'd rather have had the money back.
I liked the cave-like bunk beds. Everything was very clean. Staff was friendly, professional, and helpful.

GermanyI was staying in a room for just two people, so I wasn’t paying for a hostel experience, that is why I think that having an iron in a room is a must, but I got the surprise that not only it was not an iron but I have to go and look for it to the reception, I went there and there was a busy line to do check in, the girl on the reception told me that I needed it to give a deposit of 20€, yes, 20€, for the iron, and that I needed to do the line for it with the people doing the check in. I believe that if you offer individual rooms even when it also is a hostel, you should provide to the people paying for the individual room, what is normally in such room, and I can’t understand how is possible to make people that is already in the hotel for the check in, for something that in the first place, should be in the room.
It was clean and nice. Super close to a train station, cleaning ladies where pretty nice, good amount of elevators

SwedenYes, a kitchen exists and this sounds good when you claim it on Booking.com but guests can almost never use the kitchen because the utensil boxes are limited which only very few people can book at the same time. Every time you borrow, people would have to wait long at the bar before getting attention and when you got attended you will most likely get to hear that you have to wait until the utensil box are returned. Even when it is returned, you will once again wait because the staff will not allow you to clean because only them can “disinfect” it.
Close to the metro station.Away from the noisy and crowded city centre. Spacious public areas. New facilities.

HungaryThe room with twin beds mean that you get a room with a double bed and a bunk bed, therefore the room is small. Towels and bedsheets are provided to twin room bookings. However the cleaning service was lousy. We were there for 5 nights, but they did nothing but empty the trash and wash in the bathroom. The games room could be bigger, but it was good to have the opportunity to play billiards and table football.
Close to metro station. At the next stop (ArenA) there are many restaurants and a Lidl. ~25 minutes to get to the centraal station which is good.

GermanyCleanliness. Found litter under the bed sheets (provided another room).Too small room for a family of four. Unpleasant noisy scenario at entrance, guests smoking and drinking just on the doorstep. Not enough personal on the counters; at 9 o'clock only one person is handling check-ins, check-outs, queries, information, bar service. Though bar is supposed to be open 24 hours, I have to wait 20 minutes for a coffee and a croissant.
Very cordial and helpful staff, though overloaded. Good location, just next to metro station.

FranceNot sure whether the room was cleaned every day (it didn't seem like it). Not enough aeration (the window can't really be opened and doesn't allow enough air to come in and out), which is problematic in a dorm.
The staff was nice and helpful. Hostel easy to find with a location just across the subway station and conveniently close to many shops (Bijlmer Arena).
