• the breakfast buffet was taken away a bit too early (between 15 & 10 minutes before the end), which made me miss the fresh fruit 😕 • it was very hot in the room & the hotel 🥵 • in the morning: a bit noise from the highway nearby 🙉

The staff is too formal, no room for a chat. Responses are short and distant. There were spots of baby spit on one of the couches in my room.

You have to pay for everything extra. The Spa is not included, but you pay extra. The bathrobe is not included, but you pay extra. They give you only carton cups to use in your room, if you want to have glasses, you pay extra. I booked a little apartment within the hotel, equipped with a full blown kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and a dozen empty shelves and empty cupboards. But for using it, I had to rent pots and cutlery and dishes extra, for an extra fee… Thanks God soap and toilet paper was for free….!

I did not realise that the spa facilities (saunas and pools) were all mixed gender and bathing suits not allowed which was a bit of a disappointment. This was mentioned in the small print which I missed.

Great, comfortable rooms. Friendly service. Very good good breakfast and dinners in the restaurant. Very close to the beach. Lovely spa treatments available for extra cost.

That i booked and option with balcony and i receive a room on the ground floor. Yes with balcony but come on… it should have been mentioned the balcony would be on ground floor. Otherwise i would not book fir such extra. My personal experience is that when booking through Booking.com , hotels abuse a bit and always give a bit what was left … Also additional remark, the breakfast. When we mention the breakfast is within a specific time slot, i find it not nice that 30 minutes before the ending slot, there is half of items missing or not renewed.

I would not spend a long holiday there but for a bike trip, the stop was practical.

Correct hotel with nice bar. We were on the bike trip and it was a practical stay. The surrounding is nothing special. The hotel is a big complex, with spa for extra fee, which we did not use. The room and the bed were comfortable. The personnel is nice.

The high cost for hiring robe and slippers to be able to use the pool facilities which wasn't clear on our booking

Our group were allocated apartments within the hotel. These worked well as we had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive and we had secure garage accommodation for our bikes as we were on a cycling tour.

Nothing really. Interestingly, there was a nice kitchen in the apartment but no equipment. Not even a knife or glass. All to be rented for € 25. Very strange. Even then nothing to clean the kitchen or soap for the dishwasher.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. All was good. Not very luxurious. Bedrooms not very big, but it serves the purpose. Close to the beach is a big plus. Bicycling distance to Veere and Middelburg. Many beaches.

Disorganised and somewhat incapable staff. Bellow average breakfast. Dirty carpet, not only in the hallways but also in the rooms. Cigarette butts left in ashtray on our private balcony, etc. Staircases in spa area needs a deep scrub and anti-slip strips re-doing. Maintenance is lacking overall.

You have to pay for plates and knives in apartment, grey cheap toilet paper, old used and washed many times towels, no remote controller for TV which automatically switches on with room card, sign Do not order thuisbezorg (so cheap move to force people est in restaurant), visibly dirty glasses on breakfast, rotten cheese, dry omelette, not working elevator, there was no paper menu in a bar and online version didn’t work at all - staff is aware about this, but don’t do anything

Restaurant-bar area is nice, renovated, big balcony, a bit softer mattress than anticipated, but no problems for my back

The restaurant appeard unorganzied. Food was mixed up or not served at all. Our bill was cleared the same evening. Following morning on check out I was asked to pay a restaurant bill, that was clearly not ours. After some discussion this was solved. Staff remained friendly throughout.

Overcrowded parking place due to SPA visitors, reception desk are nice people but lines too long due to SPA visitors. On the website it did not show clearly that the SPA and swimming pool were only for SPA guests and not the hotel guests. So for families with kids its a disappointment to find out that a) you need to pay separate for SPA access and b) that your kids are not allowed to enter since their are underaged. Also the rooms and restaurant area show their age - not the right value for money balance.
