To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The studio was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The owner was very thoughtful and paid attention to little details, she prepared female pads in the bathroom and had a first aid kit with paracetamol. The kitchen had all the essentials that a family needed. Location was very central, close to everything, quiet at night time and peaceful to walk around during the day. I would highly recommend this place

Amstel boutique is a great location, near public transportation (Tramway and metro), supermarket and close to the center, just near the Neieu Prinsengracht. Wonderful decoration ! We loved the black & white with vintage wood furniture spirit. Very comfortable for a 4-people family and quiet despite being on the ground floor, since there is not much traffic.

United States of AmericaThis unit was exactly as described and pictured online. The location was very central and yet quiet after a long day - a great close in residential neighborhood. The host was kind and available. The sofa pullout-bed was comfortable for an adult for six nights. There is an exterior building door, before your unit's door, so fewer safety concerns. A very hot shower and the bathroom was big enough for two, so it was much nicer than I have had in Europe prior. Book this one!

AustraliaThe only thing was really the windows. With no air con or fans, we were a bit warm and tried to leave the windows cracked at night. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a mosquito issue while we were there and several members of the family ended up with lots of bites. Maybe consider taking bug repellent depending on time of year.
Location is terrific. We stayed with two teen children and it was so central we were able to walk pretty much everywhere except for the collection and drop off to the airport. Easy walk to the Red Light District, Anne Frank House, NEMO etc. Claire was very welcoming and was easily contactable for any questions. Luggage storage on the day of checkout was also really appreciated. Great stay for families and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we ever returned to Amsterdam.

Our family enjoyed our stay in this bright and comfortable ground floor studio on a quiet canal, in a very convenient location to walk around the city. The studio is simply and tastefully furnished and has all the necessary basics for a short stay. It was perfectly clean. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable and we loved being at walking distance from most sights yet in a quiet location. Communication with the owner was very smooth, checking in and out was very easy. An extra plus was being able to get delicious croissants from the wonderful Backhuyt bakery nearby! Upon recommendation from the owner we conveniently parked our car in the Qpark Oost, an then took the tram to the studio, a short direct ride (5 stops)(you can book your parking spot online).
