The hotel is close to everything. Has a wonderful, friendly knowledgable staff. The drinks, breakfast, snacks and cheese trolley are a huge perk.

It seems silly, but the bathrobes were not very comfortable...they were not soft!

Breakfast was wonderful. There was a great selection of food to choose from! The staff was outstanding...very friendly and very helpful!

I left my jeans in my room when I checked out. I also received lots of additional charges onto my credit card (some look like holding charges but nothing I could actually verify with the hotel as they ignored my requests for info by email). I queried the left behind Jeans and got a very quick (almost too quick, within moments) saying nothing was found. I know where I left the jeans so asked if they could look again but also had now uncovered the random unexplained charges so queried those too. This is when the reply emails from the hotel just stopped. Sadly they chose to ignore my queries. Bigger shame for them as my company colleagues stay in Amsterdam a lot and whilst I was initially saying we had found a great hotel everyone would enjoy, the lack of commuication and after service means this is not a trusted hotel.

Breakfast was lovely with friendly lovely staff. The staff made us feel welcome and even when we jammed something by accident in the toaster a lady came over, told us not too worry and even toasted some fresh slices for us.

Lovely hotel, within walking distance of most of city's popular sights. Great value with an extensive breakfast with cook to order items and the open bar and daily wine and cheese tastings included. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable, quiet room with a canal view.. I especially liked being asked for my pillow preference in advance.

If no concierge, the front desk personnel need more ability to pick up the slack with more helpful local information.

Enjoyed the "happy hour" experience, meeting other guests, free bar. Fabulous breakfast. Great bed and bathroom, although our room in back was a bit cramped.

The steps going up to the door were a bit challenging with heavy bags. The room was a little dark.

The hotel was exceptional and the staff very helpful. We loved the breakfast offerings, fresh omelets, orange juice, and breads were our favorite. The room was cleaned daily, fresh towels, the beds were comfortable and we enjoying opening the windows. The beverage and snacks in the lobby daily were an added bonus we had not expected.

I was somewhat disappointed that due to a lock not working on our original door, we needed to use the room next door which placed us closer to the street so not as good of a canal view.

We loved the all inclusive aspect of the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was amazing! The lady who cooked the made to order items was very friendly!

Fabulous location on Herengracht - easy to walk everywhere- Anne Frank House, Rijksmuseum, Hortus Botanical garden. Nice room. Comfy bed. Delighted to have a bath as well as a shower. Vibrant Art Deco theme throughout. Enjoyed chilling in the hotel lounge- lots of comfy places to relax and unwind. Extensive breakfast selection - I’m gluten free and kitchen staff went out of their way to give me GF muffins/waffles/ breads. Helpful, kind staff at all times. They’ve got this place right! Definitely hope to go back again.

Banks mansion is the perfect choice for Amsterdam. I highly recommend it in every aspect (location, breakfast,room ....). Once you stay there, you won't look for another place.
