Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsIt is a fabulous place to stay. Inside the ambience fits outside. There are two bedrooms and a separate living room. The place is basically in the national park. At the same time the access is perfect since it is at the entrance to the park. Beautiful routes start there. The house is very spacious and comfortable. 7 minutes by car to the center or big market for example Lidl or Efteling. We had a great time!!!

NetherlandsThey don’t have air conditioning or fans, but if you open your window during the day the Bungalow would be ok during the night (you have to close everything due to mosquitos since it is so close to nature) - we were there in the summer so it was really warm, but they do have heaters for the winter.
Perfect place to stay as a couple or a family! The bungalows are way bigger than they look on the picture! Ours was the smallest one, with two bedrooms, private bathroom (shower only, no bathtub), a fully supplied kitchen with everything you need (even complimentary coffee nespresso capsules for the machine they provide), TV with cable and several channels. But what we loved was that the playground is like an extension of the porch, so we could sit comfortably while our son played with so many available toys! A trampoline, several bikes and toy cars, unbranded legos, (toy) kitchen, three slides,… my so. Loved it and didn’t want to leave! The restaurant that is part of the property is great, nicest waiters and bartenders, great food!

BelgiumOnly real 'complain' was the shower curtain For the rest everything was really fine . Maybe a small tip: put less light in the sauna, that way it feels more relaxing
The private sauna, the limited number of houses on the property (only 4 houses ), the central playground in front of the house (you could keep an eye on yours kids from the terrace), bikes were cheap to rent (16€ for 2 bikes, for a whole day, including seats for our kids), relaxed atmosphere from the 'hosts' (no stress: e.g. we were a little bit late for the check-out but nobody made fuss about it, very easy to pick up and return the bikes)

it’s smaller than it looks but it’s nice and comfy, with the garden in front for the kids! the dunes just start a few meters away and it’s really close to Efteling! the restaurant is simple but perfect with kids! it’s quite busy during the day but very quiet at night

IrelandTowels are not provided, but you can hire for €3 for duration of the stay. It would be nice to see towels included in your cabin. That would be the only tiny issue I would have.
Beautiful peaceful and relaxing area. We travelled by taxi, but you do require some form of transportation to get around once on site. We hired 7 bikes (€8 per day) from the owners and the owners very kindly gave us the use of their granddaughters bike as they do not hire out children's bikes (nor do the two local bike shops - approx 1 hr walk away) Small play area with trampoline got great use from 14, 13, 11, 10 and 8 year old. On site food is only okay, we cycled to the local Albert Heijn (food market 4km away) and used the facilities within the log cabins to have breakfast and dinner. There is no oven in the cabin, so it was stove top dinners but it worked out just fine. Highly recommend the 'Pool and Outdoor Centre The Run' in Sportlaan, Drunen approx 5km away - out door pool, pool with slide and children's paddle area. You can bring your own food/drink or eat on site. Swimwear available to purchase from a vending machine, life guard station with 3/4 life guards and constant music playing. The children loved it, entry approx. €8. Would certainly return to Boomgalows De Roestelberg and would highly recommend. We stayed here before going to the Efteling - word of warning - Taxis will not travel to Boomgalows, unsure why. Ordered 4 taxis and no one would collect us and bring to the Efteling. Eventually, found a firm (+31 6 44 23 66 88) and they charged €10 per head to get the Efteling. We paid €250 return fare (Eindhoven airport/Boomgalows and Efteling/Eindhoven airport) for an 8 seater - highly recommend (Safe Taxi +31 6 19 69 74 33)
