Unless I missed it, there didn't seem to be an electric outlet in the bathroom, only a hairdryer that was permanently attached to the wall. (The layout of the electric outlets in general was a bit strange, though I know that's often a problem in building built pre-electricity, so ultimately that aspect didn't bother me too much—just the lack of one in the bathroom.)

It's a small room (do pay attention to the square meters per room they mention on their website if that's something that matters to you!), but I was quite impressed by how efficient the layout was. Small, yes, but well laid-out and more than sufficient for my needs. The bed was very comfortable; I slept well every night. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and while I personally never spent much time in the lobby itself, it had a welcoming atmosphere and I noticed that many guests did take advantage of it and seemed to enjoy themselves. The breakfast was good—featuring bread and toast, fresh fruits, meats and cheeses, eggs both boiled and scrambled, various spreads, baked sweets, etc—and the dining room, like the lobby, also felt quite nice and welcoming. The location of the building itself was also quite good. The train station was conveniently nearby, and most places I wanted to go were within 10-15 minutes walking distance.

The wifi connection in our room was spotty. It would go in and out. No problem using it in the lobby or hallway.

Excellent hearty breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. Small but comfortable rooms with shelf space for all our clothes, and there was a table and chair in the room. The location is excellent. Quiet area, walking distance to Central Station and all trains, trams, buses, and metro. Several restaurants nearby. We had to check very early to catch our flight, and they made us breakfast to go.

The bed sheet wasn't long enough to cover the food of the bed. The noise from reception with guests having a party after midnight was disturbing. There was no hot water in the morning, no hot showers unfortunately.

The room was like a shoe box with a small window with no views at all. I missed the breakfast because I had to leave early for the airport.

I only spent some hours at night because of a missed connection flight, it was comfortable and clean. I could have a coffee before going to the airport again thanks to the kettle and complimentary teas and coffee in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful giving me good indications to take my train.

My single room was very small with low ceilings so anyone over 5 ft 10 would need to let the hotel know when booking. Having said that the room adequate and spotless.

Breakfast was fine. The hotel was perfectly located in a quiet area but still within 10 minutes or so from the centre.

Could have been a bit more flexible in payments, the credit card wasn't accepted immediately, therefore I have had to use another one, but however. not a big issue.

Location is very well based in center of Amsterdam, close to the main station Centraal, therefore everything is accessible and nicely prepared. We did get to all our appointments in time. happy to advocate for it.

A few yoghurts could have been added to the breakfast selection. A building itself looks like historical renovated building ceilings are sometimes quite low. Mind the staircase - typical feature for Amsterdam, cannot be avoided! :)

Had a very cozy room for one person, relatively small but was with necessary things available. Good breakfast, enough to restore energy level for the day. Excellent location - only a few hundred meters from the central station.
