To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Staff and the restaurant service. We had breakfast include in the booked and once of my friends has problem with the lactasa and frutosa. When we said it to the barman, he went to the supermarket and we had special cow milk. Actually was an excellent option for us!

Proximity to everything being so central and a good continental breakfast is included. Room was simple but clean. Shower was fairly powerful.

I was staying in a single room and it was tiny with the very basic amenity items. The red light district is only a few steps away from the hotel which is great. The Amsterdam Centraal train station is less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel, handy if you catch the train from airport and vice versa. Breakfast was simple but it is a good start for the day. The staff are very friendly. I arrived at the hotel very early and they let me check in early. Highly appreciated

IcelandOne small but important detail was lacking: Hangers/pegs for the towels in the bathroom. There were three of us sharing the room and we had nowhere to hang our towels. Also, the bathroom; while it was nicely renovated, the shower design was a bit unfortunate; the glass only closed half way, so when having a shower , a lot of water spilled over the small threshold onto the main floor of the bathroom. This would have been OK if there had been a floor scraper and a second drain, outside the shower. But since there wasn't, the only option was to use one of the hand towels each time anyone had a shower to dry up the water on the floor. Also we had to hold the shower head so that less water would spill over. This could be fixed by adding a closing door to the shower , or take the threshold and add a floor scraper. There was no hair dryer in the room, but with a quick call to reception, the receptionist brought one up which we could keep in the room for our entire stay. So no problem really, but just good to be aware that hair dryers are not in the room when you arrive.
Good value for money. Great location for a short stay, close to all tourist activities. All staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was nice. The pizza in restaurant below was surprisingly good.
