Outside of room 101, there is an old mug with teaspoon filled with cigarette butts & butts are strewn all over the patio. The extra pillows are lumpy & well used. The restaurant served me cold zuurkool stamppot, and the waitress was rude & impatient.

Very tasty breakfast (except nasty scrambled “eggs”), great location. Nice and cozy atmosphere. Relaxed vibes with many elderly people. Had a nice evening in the bar playing pool billiards and bowling.

Diner menu ok but nothing exciting. Bathroom was tiny. It’s clearly a chain hotel so if you want to be surprised, go elsewhere.

Nice location in het forest. Good breakfast selection. Friendly staff. Clean. Charging spot for electric vehicle available (hidden at the back of the hotel).

The parking is dark and it was a long walk to reach the hotel entrance. The rooms needs to be refreshed. The carpet was very dirty, you don't want to take your shoes off. Also in a hotel of this standard you would expect tea/coffee making facilities or at least some water but all of this was charged extra for.

The water in the toilet could not be stopped (only after getting up and stopping a second time). That was annoying. There was no possibility to prepare sleeping tea in the room. However, the receptionist kindly handed us a kettle. We had to ask for the guest towels for the toilet: they were hidden in the desk. The rooms were poorly soundproofed. Fortunately, there were no teenagers around. Strangely, we didn't get a table choice. We nevertheless asked for a nice seat by the window. There we had to deal with a horde of drosophila (well, that's understandable: the hotel is in the middle of nature - honestly, I wouldn't say the hotel was to blame). The gluten-free and vegetarian / vegan options were quite limited.

The surroundings in the forest are just WONDERFUL. The receptionist was very polite, sympathetic and helpful. The atmosphere was quite pleasant, the décor simple and cosy at the same time. The hotel looked clean. Modernity of the last century. The hotel would have deserved three stars in the past (i.e. four stars in today's rating since European hotels have received an additional star).

The hotel provided a decent stay with adequate amenities and a satisfactory level of comfort. While it didn't stand out in terms of luxury or exceptional service, it served its purpose for a convenient and budget-friendly accommodation option.

We paid extra for a room with a garden patio and the garden furniture (once very good quality) was dirty and in bad condition. The lawn was rough, the patio had weeds - it had an air of no-one caring. The bathroom was tiny - the smallest I had ever encountered in 30+ years of traveling.

The location is beautiful and peaceful. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet. The restaurant is pricey but the food is delicious.

- We were on the top floor, next to the emergency exit. Despite a big sign at the door indicating that people cannot use that door to go out and smoke, several guests were constantly opening the door and smoking on the stairs. Having our window next to the stairs, one can only imagine the noise that we experienced. In fact, I had to go out and tell the person that there were kids sleeping and they should stop making noises. - The beds were very uncomfortable, particularly the pillows. - The food, despite it's price, was nothing out of the ordinary. - When we went to the pool, there were swimming lessons going on, so we had to be careful not too occupy and/or disturb the kids who were doing the lessons. I understand that kids need to learn, but maybe it should be announced that the pool can only be used only when there are no lessons going on.

- For the outdoors lovers, this hotel has a perfect location. Really in the middle of pure nature. - The staff is kind and ready to assist you.

We had a pet friendly room which was not renovated yet. the bathroom was OK, not great. the room was near the entrance therefore relatively loud.

Location in the woods (wild boar ar night 😀). nice entrance area with seating.
