Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel is located very far from the city. There is a bus stop nearby but it is difficult to reach since there is no direct road connecting the hotel and the bus stop.you need to cross the highway.

The next useful stop for public transportation is a 20 minute walk (a bus from the airport goes almost directly to the hotel, but only in one direction). Don't come here if not by car. In the morning it was quite loud on the corridor, the door didn't keep the noise away, I woke up because of yelling people
It was clean, the personnel was polite, you can buy snacks and drinks in the entrance area, the air conditioning was subtle (and didn't blow right in your face)

Had to change rooms as the safe and refrigerator didn't work. The rooms were hot and we couldn't turn off the heating. A long way to the city by bus. No nearby shops or restaurants

Not much food choice and very expensive Air conditioning was really poor and no fans as an alternative. No ironing board in the room Limited TV Channels

The fridge did not work in our room. Thankfully we did not need to use it during our stay. Location is great if you need to be close to the airport, but it's a but of a trek to get into central Amsterdam.
Staff were friendly. Room was clean and decently sized. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and reasonably priced.

Because it was far from the city centre, it wasn't easy to walk around but still very good location.
The look was clean and very comfortable. Location was great as I wanted to be close to the airport and not necessary the city itself.

The area around bus stops would be better with a bit more lighting as quite dark when returning late at night (we were there in December). Nice if the hotel bar stayed open a little later than 10pm as would have enjoyed a last drink before bed.
Bus into the centre was easy to use and took about 15 minutes. The hotel was quiet, clean and the staff at reception were friendly and helpful.

It’s in the middle of nowhere!
Very clean and tidy, staff were very good and clearly took pride in the hotel. Bar/restaurant staff were great as well, I had good conversations with them while I was waiting on my meal

Beware that getting into Central Amsterdam whilst easy can add up in costs as I was charged 6 euro for basically every trip into the city centre. Also the shower is setup in a way that floods the floor everytime it was used.
Very tidy rooms with ample space. Reasonable value for money. Easy enough to access central Amsterdam through bus. Simple trip to the Airport when departing.

Waited one hour for an airport transport that never came. Asked in the hotel about the shuttle, they don’t have it since a while. Why it’s still on the website? It cost me one hour of my life. No real excuse or compensation.

Not worth 4 stars. Rooms are pretty small. Might need a little refreshment at some point. Elevator not meeting the basic safety requirements
Great breakfast. Pleasant restaurant and bar. Conveniently located, between the EXPO Greater Amsterdam and the city centre. Soundproofing ok despite the proximity of highway and railway

Near Schiphol. Easy to Amsterdam via the #2 trolly.

Nice hotel, easy access from airport and into the City centre via bus, tap your card, costs about £2. It has a little shop inside, you pay on self serving till. So if you needed a snack you can use the shop in reception. There’s a petrol station outside that also is a shop if you wanted drinks/snacks in addition to what they offer. The breakfast was expensive so I just didn’t purchase it.

The WiFi was free but did not work at all!! The pillows were not comfortable and small.
The room was good, clean and the bed is big. The view is nice and away from the road. We did not book the room with breakfast. The bathroom is clean and tidy. We only stayed for one night.
