The receptionist could have been a little more friendly- I only spoke English as he did not understand Flemish and used Dutch words that only local Dutch people would understand

Check in was smooth, facilities impressive and a family room that really caters for families. There was enough space and the sleeping arrangements were perfect.

we ordered for dinner a chicken sate and a schnitzel and the quality of the food , the sauces etc was not what we are used to by van der Valk. My wife was up all night with a runny stomach and cramps

I would have liked to have the option of coffee from the hotel bar rather than the automatic machine at breakfast. This is really minor, I honestly couldn't fault the hotel.

Room was very comfortable - clean and very comfortable beds! Breakfast and food menu was great - ate several meals at the hotel because it was nice. All staff were very friendly, professional and spoke very good English. Bonus was having access to parking that was super easy.

It took a long time to finally get our food- luckily the conversation was good but the children were very tired and very hungry during that 1hr wait.

For the first time a family room was spacious enough for a family of four. The room was luxurious and the children aged 14 and 12 had separate beds- wonderful. The restaurant was lovely, just the time it took to be served could be improved.

The room is located almost the last room of then floor. These is only one way tot he room so we have to walk with all the luggage from group floor reception to the room at 3/F, almost 10 minutes.

overalll everything is good, however, it will be much helpful if the hotel have a shuttle from the station or dedicated driver and car since the location is quite remote.

the room is nice and modern compared to the outside building. the bathroom is also nice and clean, including the bathtub. the restaurant is nice and the food are tasty.

I wouldn't say I liked the heating system in the rooms; it was mostly a bit cold.

The breakfast is great, with a lot of variety. But the egg station needs to be better served. The staff is very friendly, and the service quality is high. The WiFI speed is good; you can pick up your laptop and work anywhere in the Hotel.

Idea to improve: switching light in the toilet without switching it on in the sink area-due to the glass wall and no door to this area, the light is too bright at night.

We had a family room and it was perfect for us with 2 kids! We had a very large room with very comfortable beds.

The room was not clean at all.It seemed that it was a rush job to have it cleaned.. Bedding was not made up properly,towels were laying on the floor.

Room was fairly dark. The seat available to work at was not ideal for posture. I had one poor meal but had selected a dish that was also on the menu of the day deal. So perhaps there was excess and the quality suffered whilst waiting.

Even though the suite was massive, it was dated and in bad need of redecoration. Black and silver very old fashioned and made the room look dark and seedy. Bath difficult to get out of as well

The staff was not very helpful, and when we had an issue we needed to offer solutions to them to see if they can accommodate it instead of them showing any interest in helping us In particular: we reserved drinks in their restaurant, but they understood that we want dinner, so it was a misunderstanding which is ok, but their first reaction was "oh we can not do it because we reserved you for dinner not drinks" and only after we asked them "if we can stay in this corner" they agreed to set up a standing table in a corner. Mind you, the event was a pre-wedding drink with our wedding guests who were already staying in this hotel and in which we were going to stay 2 nights afterward (so brought in a lot of business), and the bar area was almost empty. At the end it worked out, but only because we insisted.

Breakfast was great and as we spend there the two nights after our wedding day, they prepared rose petals on our bed which was really nice gesture. The room was clean, big and beds were comfortable included with nespresson machine which was a big plus. There is free parking and a big bar/ restaurant to enjoy.

The water draining from the room upstairs was incredibly loud and woke us up at 0600.

The family room was large and had a king size bed plus bunk beds. Very stylish. A good selection for breakfast.

The hotel is out of town. Bathrooms could be cleaned to a slightly higher standard, but this didn’t detract from a very pleasant stay.

Quality was very high, particularly the comfort of the beds. Food was fantastic and the staff very helpful and friendly.
