Shampoo and soap were empty and didn't get a refill the second day.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room, it clearly has been renovated a short time ago and was nicely designed and a good size. Additionally I had a great view of the water! Location could not have been better as you got access to the famous hike literally behind the hotel and had the best views of Ålesund. Breakfast had a great selection and parking was right underneath the hotel with direct access to the rooms, at additional cost.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of options and was very good. The staff is nice. The hotel is in the city centre, near the pear and the station. It’s easy to walking to the most interesting points. Perfect to stay in Ålesund.

DESPITE A GOOD BREAKFAST THE LOCATION IN THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLAUSTOFOBIC THE CAR PARKING FEE IT SHOULD BE PER NIGTH AND PAY DIRETLY IN THE CHECK OUT

Initially gave us a double bed even though the reservation specified two beds. We had to switch to a family room in the annex with no view.

This a is very good 4 star hotel in the main part of town and right near the park. The hotel is new and very busy with lots off tour groups and families. I was upgraded to the top floor with a nice view over the hill and lookout and also the quieter side. The windows opened which was fantastic and the room I had was two rooms with beautiful big windows, perfect to watch for the aurora!

The room was without any view, looking on roofs of the nearby buildings. The room was in flat 3 and this is a bad flat for somebody looking for view.

It was a bit weird that there was no kettle in our room on arrival. I had to ask for one and was told there were none available - even though I had seen some in a room for cleaning equipment. The next day, our mugs were removed from the room so we had to ask for then again! We found this odd as there were tea and coffee making facilities in the other Skandics we used. No gym or sauna area open during our stay. Also breakfast was very busy with tour groups.

Choice at breakfast - there was interesting apple porridge and salmon latkes. Nice lounge area on ground floor which I used as a quiet space to read. It’s a really good location for going up Askla. Plenty of parking on the streets nearby.

The "Economy" Twin Room has two beds, but they are actually connected with a single big mattress, which therefore acts as a double bed. The bed and mattress are big enough to accommodate tow people but this is not as twin room as I expected.

Good location. Easy access to the city center and harbor area. The Vy bus from/to the airport stops right in front of the hotel. The breakfast is amazing with good enough space to accommodate all the guest wishing to have breakfast there.

Location is super, walking 🚶‍♂️ distance from all attractions, the ferries and central bus station. It is adjacent to the park so one could be in the park in 2 minutes

Excellent location; awesome view from both the room and the roof restaurant; friendly staff; room spacious, with large floor to ceiling windows and very clean, also quiet; excellent breakfast; great accommodating lobby in case you need to stay longer for an evening flight
