Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWhat can I say.... this hotel is one and if not the best hotel I've stayed in, reception staff very nice and welcoming and the room was beautiful and very clean and sensationally comfortable. By reception, they have a bar that is fully stocked and so comfortable that you don't want to leave, and next to that, they have a restaurant that offers you very delicious and excellent food and wine. So and I can say to anyone who is reading this is to go and experience this hotel, you won't be disappointed, and you are very close to the main street in town

South KoreaThe indoor parking has this strange issue that you can take an elevator 'down' but next you need to take the stairs 'up'. When you are travelling with 3 heavy suitcases, it's better to leave them at the lobby, drive out of the hotel and circle around the block, get back onto the outdoor hotel parking, load your luggage and leave a again. A little waste of time but that is truly the only 'not so nice' thing about this place.
Have been here several times because the location and hotel quality juts make it a very nice stay to stay in Warsaw. Very easy to reach by car, and at the same time just a few minutes walk from the historic city center. The lobby bar offers a nice range of cocktails and has a decent food choice. I have seen several people bringing a small dog, so it seems to be pet friendly. Nice place and probably will be back in the future.

SwitzerlandVisiting the Sofitel, you might think you’re walking into a paragon of hospitality - until you hit the reception - it's a thrilling blend of standing in line and hoping you don’t get the newbie who thinks rebooting their computer might reboot the elevator. If suspense is your thing, the Sofitel’s lift offers a ride more nerve-wracking than a Stephen King novel. During my last visit, the guest ahead of me cheerfully shared that they had just escaped from an elevator that had been problematic for three days. The receptionist’s calm nod and promise to "report it soon" might have reassured some, but I spent my elevator ride envisioning my new life between floors. Also, as you can easily see, the hotel is geared towards doing all sorts of crowded conferences which is not conducive to the quality of service and the feeling of comfort inside the hotel. In summary, Sofitel Warsaw weaves a tale of urban adventure with a splash of bureaucratic charm and a pinch of elevator roulette. For a five-star hotel, they certainly keep things... interesting.
The Sofitel Hotel offers a sanctuary in the city's vibrant heart. Despite a sizable construction project across the street, the location remains unbeatable - a central hub that I eagerly return to time and again. What sets the Sofitel its exceptional value for money. Here, 'value' translates into well-appointed rooms equipped with modern amenities and an ambiance that blends comfort with a hint of luxury. But the real gem is the swimming pool area - think of it as your private retreat in the midst of urban chaos. Moreover, the rooms offering views of modern Warsaw and the serene Saski Park add another layer of allure. Waking up to such vistas transforms a regular morning into something quite spectacular. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel continues to be a personal favorite for all the right reasons.

United States of AmericaIf only the saunas did not separate genders (located in the male/female locker rooms)…though I understand a mixed gender sauna could cause discomfort among some foreign guests.
Convenient location with secure underground & above-ground parking available; a short and pleasant walk into the heart of Old Town. Łukasz (Guest Relations Manager) made our stay particularly special, and went out of his way to ensure we felt like valued guests. He succeeded! Exceptional service; Łukasz is supremely professional, thoughtful, and genuinely attentive. Perfect end to our wonderful journey throughout Poland. Easy drive to airport on departure day. We enjoyed the Nespresso machine in our room, the beautifully designed pool area, the sauna and the lounge bar in the evening. Gabriel in the spa area was quite helpful during each of our visits. We will certainly return to Sofitel Warszawa!

United KingdomThere didn't appear to be any shop facilities, although there are mini markets 5-10 minute walk away and La Brasserie Restaurant was nice for a longer relaxed lunch but there didn't appear to be anything offering a quicker more functional menu. The breakfast room seems to be used by corporate events for lunch during the day,
The Sofitel is very comfortable and well located for the old town of Warsaw. The breakfast choice was very good as was the food in La Brasserie Moderne. Room service and the facilities in the room were all very good. Very stylish overall

PolandWe really enjoyed the bar experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff, apart from the champagne the choice of premium wine was very limited, at the restaurant the same wine list was offered which was not in keeping with the restaurant in a five star hotel. This was the major disappointment of our stay.
Breakfast buffet was excellent, staff at breakfast were first class. The restaurant food was good although the wine choice was limited. The room was good for the price We both agreed we would stay there again.
