It’s a little tired in parts. The gym and other areas could do with updating and simple perks that you would expect from a large hotel such as Coffee facilities in the room are not available.

It has everything you could want from a beach side hotel, pool is great and the spa is very reasonably priced.

In the Hotel website say that it has an heated pool from April to October. The pool was really freezing.

The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The location perfect for the beach. Very clean property.

-The pools are not heated and close at 7pm -You only get 1 bottle of complimentary water for entire stay. - The gym opening times are late 9am-7pm, so if you want to use the gym before breakfast finishes you have to work out & shower all within 1 hour to make it before breakfast closes. - breakfast finishes too early at 10am (even on weekends) - the casino vibe isn’t great! Slots are on ground floor and table in lower floor -no toys allowed in pools -bar staff don’t give ice, so have to order ice from room service then pay £3 service charge. Cheaper to buy a bag of ice from supermarket

The hotel looks good, is clean, has good facilities has well kept grounds and a resident parrot. -Great locations for the beaches (very clean beaches) -close to restaurants -Nice outside terrace and lounging areas. -The gym is a little small, no mats. -Good access to the beach. -Breakfast was delicious. -The WI-FI was good -Loved the sea view room -room was spacious, clean and had all the trimmings (Flat screen tv, mini bar, robes, slippers, blankets, extra pillows, safe, desk, balcony furniture, bidet, table & chairs, connecting rooms) -I like the fact there was a safety cord in the shower The shower pressure was amazing

I would of like an iron in the room, they provided iron when needed but to have one in the room would of been better

The beach facilities were not open and the pool had restrictions for children no floats etc. which was disappointing

Clean and the staff were friendly pool staff were very nice. And a couple of the front house staff were very friendly particularly the door man who helped with luggage and other things. A few ladies at breakfast were really friendly.

Should have blankets in duvet covers for 5stars hotel! The system “sheet under duvet” doesn’t work nice especially if the duvet is wool.

There was a very odd smell from the bathroom so had to keep the door to the bedroom closed all night.

Not really dog friendly as dogs not allowed in public areas.We appreciate that dogs are not allowed in the dining room but we could not sit and have a drink with our friends in the bar / reception lounge with our dog.We wouldn’t have booked if this had been explained more clearly and not just in the small print.It was even more annoying that we had to upgrade our room and pay extra for the dog in order to take her with us! She is a small well behaved dog and no problem at all.

The carpark is quite a distance and dark.

The room is Superb. Very big and spacious and a Balcony. Family room with extra hall and 2 toilets. It is like a Junior suite. All of my family members loves the room. Relax and balcony with sea breeze was enjoyable. The room is facing the beach and sea with an awesome view! Breakfast was good with a series of varieties selection. Yummy.

Could have some entertainment in the hotel. Would like to have some English tv channels such as bbc, itv etc.

Reakfast was fairly standard, a bit chaotic when it was busy. Room was great, just the one I requested which was excellent. The location of the hotel was perfect for me. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

The staff were not willing to help much. We ended up in an argument with them, because we would like to watch a football match. However they wouldn't cooperate to help us and kept saying that it was not possible. Then we went to the hotel on the other side of the street, and they helped us without any issues. Instead of trying to help us, they treated us like children and didn't listen.

Been stuck in the lift for 15 minutes and no one member of staff was there to se if we were all ok and a surly receptionist

The heater did not work properly. Parking is €18 per day to park at the hotel or you have to park at a further away parking lot with a bit of a walk for free.

Good location for Praia Da Rocha, we stayed in the suite which was a good size. The staff were also friendly and breakfast was decent.

Amazing breakfast. Everything you could want. Eggs cooked to order. Staff very nice but a bit eager to clear the table before you're finished. So when you get up to get a drink, your food might have been whisked away Free upgrade to beautiful sea view. Nice size balcony. Huge bed. Instant hot water. Comfortable settees in lounge, with bar. Staff friendly and helpful Casino :- similar to the airport getting in cos have to place photo id on scanner. We needed help. Takes a while to get help. Upstairs, you put money in machines and credit note comes out which you take to another machine to get cash back. Downstairs is a blackjack table. 10 euros for 1 go. There's also a roulette table which is a bit cheaper. Not so friendly in the casino
