Safe didn't work, receptionist couldn't get it to either. Have stayed here before and it was the case then - don't they think it's important? It is to us. Fridge seemed to be bust too but didn't need it so not mentioned. Access is through their restaurant and a bit tricky with heavy luggage.

Not much choice at this price in the centre so good value. Rooms well presented. Had superior room 3rd floor which has lovely balcony built into roof.

On arrival the receptionist seemed quite rude, this may have been due to language barrier though as we speak no portugese. Some staff were often on their mobile phones. We drove a hire car to the hotel and parking was a nightmare. The tourist centre however pointed us to a nearby free car park which was perfect.

The hotel was in a great location, right next to the marina and tourist centre. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfy. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good value for money. We stayed here for 2 nights and would stay again.

The staff were super helpful. The hotel had a lovely little restaurant attached to it. The location was excellent right near the old part of the town and with the marina within touching distance of the hotel.

Overall we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. However, there are small details in the room that could have made our stay more pleasant. The bathroom needs a bit of care, as toilet holder is not well fixed to the wall, there was also a little shelf in the bathroom that was also not well mounted (and tilted). There was an odor coming out of the shower sink -- we asked for the cleaning persons to have a look at that and they promptly helped us. However, the odor came back on the following day. Another issue is that the hotel is above a restaurant and there is a very strong smell of fried fish throughout the corridors and all day long.

We arrived very late (1am) and there were people at the reception to check us in. The staff at the reception was very helpful during our stay, providing everything we asked promptly (cutlery, a glass). The room was clean and the hotel has an excellent location.

The few steps into the lobby made entry with luggage awkward, but there was an elevator to access the rooms.

Owners understood immediately that we were reserving for a night before our morning arrival from overseas so there would be a bed waiting for us. Check-in was fast and the room was quiet so we could sleep. The location is handy for sightseeing, restaurants, etc, but the hotel is very quiet. The restaurant is convenient.

No facilities in the room to make a drink in the morning. The hairdryer was poor.

Very central location and easy walk to the train station. Our room was large and the bed comfortable. Our room was quiet and no noise at all to disturb our sleep. Shower was good but the water escaped from the shower tray onto bathroom floor. We only stayed one night and left at 630am to catch an early morning train. It was adequate for our short stay.

There was a bad smell coming for the bathroom into the room and overall the room needed some maintenance. Also my room had no view which I didnt mind but maybe make sure to ask for a view if you want one

Very quite great for a good night sleep and still a very central location with loads of restaurants, right in front of the marina.

Room provided overlooked the street. Great light however very noisy at times in particular late at night and in the early mornings - sound proofing of the room could be improved.

Room was comfortable and the hotel staff worked hard to resolve issues during our stay. Location was superb, very central providing easy access to the city, coast etc.

The rooms/bathrooms are too dark in the evening, not enough lights. The air con didn't seem to work on heating mode, but it wasn't really required.

There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel .

The Location is perfect next to marina and for shopping , restaurants , bars . The room was massive and very comfortable with alaso a massive on suite . Staff were very helpful all in all It is perfect for a weekend break . I will definitely return and would highly recommend a vist. 10/10
