The hostel is on the 3rd floor of the building with no lift. I did not know this while booking and I had a large suitcase and it was a struggle to carry it upstairs. However, the hosts were very kind to help me carry it. But I am leaving this note for someone to keep this in mind while booking. Think twice if you are NOT travelling light.

The isolation is horrible. We couldn't sleep well because it was so loud when people would walk in the hallway. The rooms look very basic too.

The location was good. It is a close and short commute to most places.

The lack of lift as the hostel is on the 3rd floor, especially when you carry multiple bags, and the lack of air conditioner in the room. During the winter, it can be quite challenging.

The area is quiet and easily accessible from the airport. It is an excellent location to explore Lisbon.

Overall the place was passable, it was clean and according to the pictures but inside it looked very old and the bed was uncomfortable. Although the room was spacious, the space was wasted.

The room was fine. The bed was a little uncomfortable and there was not enough room between the bed and the door. I slept with my face on the door basically.

The bedroom looked highly unfinished: Old hole for a door covered with drywall and not painted or hidden and things like that. The mattress was so old and sagged you were forced to sleep in the hole formed by sleeping on it for years, where you could feel the springs. I couldn't sleep well one single night, neither could my friend. Wooden floor boards missing and the floor was uneven. Almost no light in the bedroom, you couldn't read a book comfortably. The room was hot at night and you had to leave the window open to let air in, but at the cost of loud vehicles noises coming from the street all night long. The overall state of the hostel was kinda left behind: decoration falling off the walls; abandoned reception desk; cupboard doors falling off; and so on. Basically lack of basic maintenance. It felt sad to spend time in the hostel cause there was no atmosphere and everything looked ugly.

Kitchen was good enough to cook any simple meal. Showers were hot and there were enough bathrooms for everyone.

- It could be cleaner and it needs to have some fixing here and there, maybe a bit of renewal in some places would be good as well. - The bathroom had rusty nails, presumably to hang things, there was dust accumulated in many places, the floor was dirty, etc.

The location is really central and the room was huge. It was quiet and it suited our needs.

No wardrobe in the room. The furniture in the room was quite old. The room was not clean at all. The worst thing was that there were two bathrooms in the hostel, both were not clean and had some out of order facilities (e.g the sink in the small bathroom was totally blocked).

I stayed in the 10 th room. The room was actually for two persons, it was spacious. Also there was a quite bit balcony. Although the equipment was a bit old and not clean, the kitchen is OK, you can cook, use a microwave and fridge. There was a Mini Preço supermarket just next to the hostel building, and you can finf liquors in Supermercado Sarkar, which is also close to the hostel. The best part of the hostel was kindness of other travelers to each other.

There was a little problem, the street is noisy, so is better to stay with the window closed

The room is very basic: bed (comfortable), a little table with 2 chair (nice), hanger for clothes and a lamp. Pretty essential but for us that stay in the room only for sleep, was ok. The shared bathroom was clean and seems like everyone was respectful of each other so nice (also for the kitchen). Remember the towels for the shower!

Kitchen did not work well (only 1-2 spots out of 4) one of two toilets was out of service so there was one for couple of rooms. Very small bathroom with a shower. Broken window in the room - impossible to close it fully (danger if you travel with small kids like we did)

It was a bit noisy. Our room was next to the main stairs of the building and you could hear everyone going up and down. The two shared bathrooms were both occupied some times.

During our stay in September, there were not many people at the hostal and it was great to use the kitchen. We had an overall good experience and the location is great. Checkin and checkout went smooth.

There was only one power socket in the room next to the entrance. The water wasn't running for a few hours, so we couldn't take a shower. Not hostels fault, but do count on loud and disrespectful guests, who barge into the shared rooms at 4 am drunk, and wake up all other guests with their yelling and laughing. It's cheap so it attracts teens/party people :')

It was one of the cheaper options available. Bus stop and store right in front of the building. Comfortable big bed. Contacted us that check-in was available earlier if we were close, which was a big save for us backpackers.

We were on 4th floor and the whole of the 5 rooms only had 1 bathroom, the other said it was broken and said it was going to be fixed today but we were there 3 nights and nothing done plus the note looked to have been there a long time too. Other than that all good.

Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest, it was pretty loud as the door are old, someone tried to paying the walls but you can still see some old paintings under, the bed was super old and quality of the sheets wasn’t the best.

I had a single room and it was pretty bright, with a beautiful Tree behing the window so it was very calm and cosy, location was good. In general good if you need an affordable place to sleep.

One bathroom had a malfunctioning toilet and the other malfunctioning lights; cleanliness could be improved!! The walls are paper thin so I could hear the family and the baby next door too good. It’s on the 4th floor, so when I stayed there in may it was already quite warm… in the summer must be hella hot.

Location is great, really near avenida. I liked having a balcony. The shutters closed so it was really dark in the room.

Bathroom could do with a deep clean/revamp. Staff were very hard to communicate with. We arrived to the hostel two hours early to check in and on the door it states if there is no answer then to call a number. We called and there was no answer. As we were early, we didn’t blame the staff and we went for a coffee and came back at 4pm.(the check in time).The staff member arrived a few minutes later and even though it stated that they speak English she did not. We did empathise and try our best. Once paid she showed us to our room and the bathroom and then left. She did not explain what to do in emergency or at check out as we had keys to the property. On the description it states towels can be rented for 2 euro. We tried the office everyday we stayed (we were there Saturday-Tuesday) and no answer and called the phone multiple times and no answer and we didn’t see the receptionist/staff again. We tried to find out info for checking out but again no response so had to leave keys in room and just close the door.

Location is amazing. Lovely, quiet and felt safe as two young girls walking back to hostel after dark. Price is really good and our room (we may have been lucky) was a good size with fan. For the price, the room and facilities combined with location are fairly good.
