I had some room temperature issues, and had to move rooms ... which was too bad because I really liked my first room, but the 2nd room was also excellent, so no real complaint. The beds are getting close to the point of needing replacing, but perhaps Russians enjoy a harder bed. The staff very willingly delivered a couple of extra pillows when I mentioned something.

During this Covid period, I believe I was the only non-Russian in the entire hotel. As a result, I was well known and my lack of English skills were always thoughtfully accommodated. The dining room / restaurant food was consistently outstanding, and the staff was always very attentive.

It was a shame that the spa was not open. I called and emailed before making my booking, as this was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel, we were told it would be open when we are staying at the hotel. However, on arrival we were told it was still closed.

The staff were very helpful and the level of service was great for what you would expect from such a hotel. The hotel was quiet and very clean, the decor was beautiful.

Breakfast which is not cheap is served to order, so there is no buffet to choose. It would be nice to know that breakfast is served till 12am, as the staff forgets to tell you and everywhere you can find it is written till 11am, great to get this info before check-out. Very strange to have minibar in the room being locked up in 5 stars hotel that has card details. Prepair to leave a special deposit.

Finally, after years of traveling to SP and experiencing the most fashionable hotels in the city , I discovered a jewel I will never hesitate to recommend to my friends. Impeccable facility in all the ways, had unforgettable time and immaculate service. Great location too! Parallel to Dostoevsky street and perpendicular to Rubinstein, what more shall one need? Definitely returning back P.s special thanks to Sergei from the reception, you were so hospitable and friendly and offered an upgrade to compensate taxi’s late arrival to the airport.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, however; there are some issues were annoying. First, when we asked politely for late check out, the lady at the reception was rude! She did not accept to extend the check-out, she said in a rude way there are other gusts will come and we have to leave now, but when we asked to extend our staying to another day she agreed to do it in the same room! However the service was very bad 2- there was a water leak from the shower. 3- Hermitage suite has no view and it looks bigger in the picture than reality. 4- the spa is very small.

We booked 4 suites, they are comfortable, luxurious, and beautiful. Some of the stuff are helpful and nice.

- Despite the name, the hotel is not any near the hermitage so the name is quite misleading - The staff was very suspicious people would steal item in their rooms' mini-bar so it is locked and the entire thing must be played for beforehand 😂 I had to made them to remove everything as I simply wanted to store an item in the fridge... I have never saw that before - more surprisingly in a 5 star hotel 😁

It is a pretty quite place with no entertainment on site. The pool area was closed. Except for a minibar (extra charge) , the room lacks a regular fridge. The hotel is not cheap and for the price you pay, you would expect to get a basic continental breakfast. It is 4,000 rubles for two guests. For comparison we (3 adults and a 9 year old) had a dinner at a 5-star Georgian restaurant and paid 3,800.

It is an amazing hotel located in the heart of St. Petersburg. We liked everything about this property (great rooms and great service). Our stay would have been more fun if we could use their pool/spa area. Unfortunately, it was closed due to COVID. We are not really sure if that is the true reason because we had a blast using pool and world’s most popular spas over at Solo Sokos Palace.

Staff was very slow and demotivated. Restaurant was rejected to enter at 22:20 due to closing at 23:00, staff didn't offer room service instead and didn't notify about temporary law restrictions for all city restaurants due to COVID. Reception don't know how to buy tickets for Hermitage Museum (sic!). The bartender took 20-30 minutes to boil teapot for tee at lobby bar (there was only 2 tables occupied). Reception told SPA do not required reservation, but when you at SPA it may be unavailable, due to missing reservation. Don't forget your credit card, or you will be rejected (yes it is not included into room price)...

Location is great, near famous Rubinstein street with many restaurants and bars. Room design and usability are perfect. Royal interiors. Doorman opening the doors :).

I’m really disappointed!. it is 3 stars hotel . if you have child 6 y,o. tariff will be adult. SPA is closed abd about it only one small notice (( if ypu want to open the window you have to pay 80$!!

We booked in order to spend some time at the spa. However, at the very bottom of our booking in small print was a statement that the spa was closed (which we of course did not notice because it is designed for people not to notice it). We tried to cancel our reservation at check-in but were refused by the reception staff. The reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful in response to this and other requests.

The Air Conditioning did not work despite two requests. We had a "junior suite"; directly outside our bedroom window was another room's terrace! Other guests ate and drank out there at all hours of the night!

The hotel is clean and the staff can do basic requests.
