Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Staff was really kind and helpful. Prices in the restaurant were very high like in Paris or London 🤪 small but nice pool. Clean rooms. Bear in mind that this property is miles away from anything so you need a car to get anywhere

SwitzerlandA very minor thing about the villa: in the bedrooms there are air conditioners, but in the living room there are only fans that are not enough to cool the room, so it's hard to use it because of the heat.
The view from the villa and the restaurant is wonderful. The restaurant offers good breakfasts and dinners, and the staff is really nice. If you have a car, the location of the property is perfect for visiting the island.

SwedenWe stayed in the garden villa beautifully located in the tropical garden. Amazing view over the sea. Very well equipped villa for four people. Very clean and tidy. We enjoyed the veranda for dinners and drinks. The staff is very friendly and the pool area is small but very cute. We enjoyed the breakfasts in the restaurant area right on the water. The position was very strategic if you are not staying for many days and you want to do day trips to other islands like la Dingue. The bus stops close to the hotel. The hotel was very helpful also with giving us all the information we needed for our stay as numbers to very honest and nice taxi drivers. We really enjoyed our stay!

We already visited without kids and we loved it here. Now we had two kids and a baby with us and it was simply wonderful. Staff is friendly, breakfast is great, location is perfect and the pool is just amazing after a long day on the beach.

SlovakiaYou need to travel a bit to see most beautiful beaches ( Lazio, Georgett). There is a beach directly front of the hotel, but is not so exclusive.
Accomodation is excellent for 4 member family. Offers appeopriate space for all family members and exclusive view from appartment teracce. Food was delicious. Staff is very friendly and obliging. Hotel can be very proud on his manager Bikesh, who is very helpfull allways willing to help or give advice or organize all practicalities, like car rental, transfers or beach permit. Resort is offering good value for given price. We spend there 5 days ( 3 day traveling on Praslin ) , 2 days just staying in the hotel using swimingpool. In some time we will definitely be back.

LithuaniaThe hotel is excellent. The view from the terrace is stunning. The hotel's grounds are beautiful, and the pool is fantastic – there's an opportunity to swim in the sea. The breakfast is delicious, and if possible, I highly recommend their dinner. Perfect. Dear Bikesh, we wanted to express our gratitude for the excellent hospitality during the stay at the hotel. The accommodation was comfortable, and your service was exceptional. Thank you for making our experience enjoyable.

RomaniaThe bed was not comfortable for us. The mattress is very, very soft. Breakfast is very limited, but this is pretty the same on all other hotels. You need to pay extra for a good espresso. Sorry, but the coffee included is awful. Please respect the clients and offer them a good coffee if we already paid for breakfast. Dinner was average and expensive for the quality.
Resort is placed on the coast with a breath-taking view. Is heaven on the earth! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying here, and we will definitely come back here!

SerbiaReally is nothing else to add.
Chalets Cote Mer gives the feel of 5-star luxurious hotel. Chalets have beautiful sea views like in pictures. The property is perfectly maintained with amazing gardens all over the place. There is a small turtle sanctuary within the complex. You also have a lot of parking space and shade if you use the rented car. The staff is very kind and polite and there to satisfy all your needs. The restaurant is situated in the area over the water and both breakfast and dinner are great experiences. The food available (free breakfast) is very good and payable dinner is worth every penny giving you the choice of nicely prepared meals. Even the drinks with that some hotels are usually overcharging are very decently priced. An infinite pool overlooking the bay is there to complement the great feel. Looking forward to our next stay in chalets.

AustriaThe living room had no fan or AC, making it uncomfortable for groups to sit together. The windows and doors in the living room have no seal or net, inviting many insects in the evening. No laundry machine for independent use. Dinner is mediocre in taste and small in portion considering the high price.
Very friendly staff and a nice welcome process for check in. They prepared a cake for one of our birthdays (complementary for inconvenience due to AC problems, which were promptly fixed). Decent breakfast included in price. Scenic location.

PortugalThe only thing that we notice is that behind the bed was not well cleaned. A lot of spider webs and dust. But you can live with.
The staff was truly nice and welcome. They gave us a coconut snack and a welcome drink as soon as we arrived. The location and the view is amazing. The bed is super comfortable. The kitchen was equiped with everything to cook. Breakfast was good but could be better with more selection of pastry and a better coffee.

SwitzerlandWe had the Junior Suite. For 4 adults, the sleeping area is rather small. The two bedrooms are only seperated by a curtain. Also, the top bunk bed can carry only a child, not an adult. I think that sould be mentioned in the description. Coffe is included in the breakfast, but a Cappiccinoo costs extra, which I think is OK, but I think 5€ is a bit to much. But after all these are just minor things, I would definitly stay again here!
The stuff is very friendly and obliging, I would rate them 10 out of 10! The included breakfast is excellent. It includes different sort of breads, many sorts of confiteure, small croissants, pain au chocolats, pancakes, fruits etc. and on demand omlets, eggs etc. Also there is a great view from the dining room! Our room was very clean.

NetherlandsBesides drinks during dinner there didn’t seem like a bar where you can get drinks during day but as we were exploring the island, no issue for us.
We loved our stay at Chalets Cote Mer; lovely room with great balcony and beautiful sea view. As due to proximity to old harbor we loved watching the ferries coming by. The staff (from reception to housekeeping and kitchen/restaurant) were amazing, friendly and funny and made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is a little further from most beaches (like Côte d’Or), but no problem for us. We used the public bus which left regularly after a short stroll and it was a great way to meet locals too. We’ve seen lots of car rentals though, the property offers many free parking spots. Good to know is potentially that access from rooms to pool and restaurant is steep (but short), not the easiest for people with walking difficulties. Breakfast and dinner offered was great and plenty of options. Dinner is three course menu with two options to choose from).
