We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SwedenThe wifi was really bad. You don't have one wifi per room the whole place is sharing one wifi. Connection drops every few minutes and Is extremely slow. If you read the reviews other people have complained about this but no fix. I wish i could open the windows more. Very expensive

AustraliaThe apartments at Vallérsgatan should really be a separate Booking.com listing. We were among many who have booked our stay thinking we were staying within the walls, only to get there, read our private message carefully, and see that we have a 20-minute walk to our actual destination. A separate listing would be a lot more honest and doubtless save the host and future guests a great headache, even if it is much less attractive than the current location… We stayed in the room listed currently as “Apartment” and found that the WiFi was plugged into a dead socket and had to be switched to another in order to power on. A note containing the password would also be appreciated, as not everyone knows to check the back of the router (hidden behind the TV) to find it. We also wish that the washing machine in the photos was installed. I know now that it was not listed in the facilities, but so prominent a photo had got our hopes up. The place feels a bit unfinished in general: there is the aforementioned dead socket and washing machine, and the extractor fan in the kitchen is not connected to anything! We had a poor first impression and a needlessly painful welcome to Visby, but I believe that the host is actively working on it and wish them and future guests the best.
The host appears to be making an effort and listening to feedback, as some past reviews have been addressed. The shower was great and the beds comfy. The location was clean inside and out.

SwedenThere was a few problems: We wrote that we were 3 persons, but the bed linen and towels were for two. (They fixed it the next day, but we had to share for the first night...) There was only two chairs by the kitchen table. (We borrowed one from the balcony...) The locking devices on the kitchen window fell of when we tried to close it. One leg on the sofa was missing. There were too few light bulbs in the kitchen lamp. (3/6) The restaurant downstairs started cooking food with lots of garlic around 9 AM and cooked throughout the day and night. They also deep fried or fried fish all through the opening hours, and these smells floated in through the open windows and up the stairs.
The location in central Visby, about 20 minutes on foot from the ferry, 10 minutes from a big supermarket and 3 minutes from the nearest bike rental was very good! The restaurants and shops just down the stairs was a big plus!

The owner was very good, I forgot where I put the keys of apartment but he came in the night and open it. Have me his key. I the last I found my key. He is super nice. People in Gottland are really nice. It's a nice experience. The location of the apartment is perfect. Bus stop is just 5 minutes close and all very good restaurants are close by.

United KingdomDespite trying to adjust the radiators, the room temperature was bizarrely too hot considering it was November. There was noise outside with bins emptied at an early hour each day but this is obviously not anything the property owner can control
Location was good. Accommodation was spacious and facilities perfectly adequate. Instructions for key code entry worked fine. Bed was comfy. All in all the property was very reasonable for the amount it cost

New ZealandArrived late after midnight, ferry delayed. No room number on key in Boende appt so slept in another room, the only other key in the safe box. Owner took us next morning to completely different apartment, not Boende. So, a total cock up and we could have been stranded if the other key wasn’t there. Didn’t answer phone. Messaged from ferry for directions,none given,just key in box. Final apartment was ok but get your act together and think more about your clients! Would not recommend.

SwedenThe room we had was showing signs of wear. Somewhat broken shower and toilet seat. The roll down curtains weren't wide enough to cover the window so being there near the midsummer meant that the room was really bright as soon as the sun rose at 4am.
Location is excellent if one wishes to visit the Visby old town.
