Stayed at Fer Resort in Mae Hong Son, North Thailand, and it was an exceptional experience. Nestled in a quaint village, the ambiance transported me back in time. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making me feel right at home. A truly memorable stay!

The beds are too hard and it might be time to upgrade the mattresses like a lot more hotels in Thailand are doing.

We love it here. The gardens and pools are so relaxing. This was our 8th stay. We stayed for 2 days and didn’t leave.

Infinity pool with nice view. Compound is very green even during dry season. The shuttle service to town. The grounds are well cared for. The room was very comfortable.

We loved the setting in the national park - the hotel itself was very pretty with a gorgeous infinity pool and we were able to walk from the door into the park (with one of the resident dogs as a guide). The hotel provided a free shuttle to/from town for travel or dinner/exploring. Breakfast was good. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

+ Very nice area of the resort! + From our room we could hear a waterfall. What a treat! + There are mosquito nets on the windows so you can easily open them to listen to the sounds of nature. + There is no unnecessary TV in the room. This is a plus for us. + Friendly and helpful staff. + Good location in quiet place. + Сar parking near the entrance + Clean and spacious room, comfortable bed + Great breakfast, lots of choice, self service.

The rooms are a bit dated.

The grounds were beautiful. There is a good hike next to the resort. They have trekking dogs to follow us through the hike. The staffs informed us the dogs can look out for snakes. Wow! A lot to see within the compound. There was a farm and yoga Center with 2 swimming pools.

The place has a big, beautiful and peaceful garden. Really enjoyed some pool time at the small rice field during our short stay. Good breakfast.

Peaceful resort out in nature, with lush vegetation and beautifully landscaped grounds. The rooms are individual bungalows and are very well designed and very comfortable. I was impressed that the WiFi signal was strong, even though our bungalow was quite far from the main building. We walked around and thought the pools and other facilities looked very nice, although we were just staying overnight so didn't take advantage of them. Staff were very friendly.

Location is so tranquil. Peace comes over you in an instant. Staff are all so courteous, thoughtful, friendly, helpful. Dining room and meals great. It was the Thailand we were searching for. Will definitely return.

Yoga was not on as lady was on holiday. Pool bar didn’t open until 4pm but could get drinks at restaurant. Breakfast variety could have been better and lunch & dinner menu could have had more of a variety. Food ok.

We loved the resort. The employees weer very hospitable and helpful. The greatest atraction of this resort is however the pool overlooking the rice fields, its just beyond beautiful.

Noise in the roof was disturbing at times. Dogs barking and Mosque music nearby in the morning. However these didn’t take away from really enjoying our stay.

Everything about the hotel was lovely and set in a very tranquil place. The only downside, which is not really that bad, is that its about 15mins drive from Mae Hong Son. We didn't mind as we had a rental car!

Stunningly beautiful grounds and two pools. I loved taking a great 8k hike right from the property (take water and food!). We both had fantastic massages. Food and other guests are very Northern European but tasty. Did I say beautiful grounds? That!

Dinner was pretty good but more overpriced (as would be expected). Stay true to your wonderful Thai cooking style. It was a hit and miss with choices. (an example) Pad Thai is a classic dish and should have been amazing, but was very weak. Small critic, but the success of a place is knowing where it can be improved.

We loved our stay!! It is a beautiful place to spend a few nights. We relaxed by the pool which is a beautiful setting, did the hike to the falls which you can walk to from the resort. The resort dogs joined us, which I loved as I missed my dog at home. They stayed with you the whole way. When we were done, they headed back to find new hiker, as they left us at trails end. Lots of choice at breakfast, which was good, fresh salad at dinner, as the garden is growing on the property. Loved that!! If your traveling northern Thailand, this is a stop and enjoy kind of place. We arrived later the first day and had 3 nights and 2 full days to enjoy. We had a very nice bottle of wine a dinner Loved it!!

The Fern Resort was absolutely divine. I would come back to Thailand just to visit there! It was so peaceful and serene, so many different areas and facilities onsite, you don’t need to leave the resort if you don’t want to. Just relax and enjoy the surrounds by the pool (they have 2!). The food from the restaurant is very good, staff were all so friendly and accommodating, the gardens and views were stunning. We also enjoyed the hike you can do leaving from the property through the bush accompanied by the resident dog Snow White who showed us the way! The rooms were private, spacious and comfortable and I loved hearing the stream flow and birds sing from our room and everywhere you go around the property. 10/10 !!
