Our shower did not turn on right away, and so we had to wait a few minutes for the water to come out, but this was not a major issue. Other than this, everything was great!

We only stayed for 1 night, but it was a pleasant stay. We were able to check in early which was greatly appreciated, and the receptionist carried our bags up to the 2nd floor which was greatly appreciated. Our room was dated, but we had everything we needed - a kettle, coffee, water, fridge/freezer, good AC etc. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and we particularly liked the large balcony that overlooked the pool. Lovely to sit out here in the evening. You are also on the high street, so a very short walk from restaurants , 7 eleven and other shops. Very good location.

Wifi was really not working, which made things complicated for us as we work remotely. The hotel should fix the problem or tell in the announce that the wifi doesn't work well. We had to pay extra 4G, so we asked the amount to be deducted from the total price, but the manager refused... not really honest. Concerning the location, Lamai beach is fine but not the best place to stay in Koh samui.

We liked the pool, the room was big, and staff was really nice and attentive. The room was cleaned every day.

The pool was very cloudy looking for the most part of our 9day stay. They seemed to clean it or change the water about 2 days before we left and it was crystal clear and lovely and inviting for a dip. Beds only have 1 pillow per person. Could do with 2 per person. The rooms could do with fresh paint job as could the exterior

This problem has the very common problem of guests claiming sunbeds and not using them. People put their towels out for hours and not using the sunbed. unfortunately the staff needs to fix this, putting up signs or removing towels after 30-60 mins if they are not used or whatever.

The location is very good! The rooms have everything you need but it is very outdated and old. Pool is very nice

Location was excellent. Off the main street, so quiet. But close to restaurants abd a 3 minute walk to the beach. Room was very comfortable with balcony. Quiet and helpful staff.

Our room could get some little refreshing, such as fresh painting or more modern furniture and curtains. Apart from that, we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

Grand Thaï House is well located, in a nice neighbourhood of Koh Samui and close to the beach. The pool is great and the rooms are spacious with a little balcony.

Lamai beach is unfriendly unless you are booked into one of the beach hotels. Difficult to get shade and shelter and sunbeds are expensive.

I had my doubts when it comes to the sheets - they should have them bleached - they were yellow and not very welcoming.

Definitely big plus for location - the beach is just around the corner. The main Street is there too, walkable to bars, shops, tour operators, etc. The room quite ok with basic soap and towel.

Nice pool. Simple and older rooms but good size with good showers, kettle & coffee supplied. 5 min walk to beautiful beach that’s good swimming and relaxing. Plenty of shops & eating opportunities. The first room I stayed in smelled like an ash tray. The staff was friendly & helpful to give me another room the next day that smelled nice & fresh.

Shower was very much hit and miss and at one point we had quite a large spider in our room but there was a worker who tried to help get it out! These things can’t really be helped though!

Location was right across from lamai beach and it is gorgeous! Loads of activities available also like jet skiing. Rooms were cleaned daily.
