If there is a paradise, it is in this house. It is incredible, with nice and very hospitable people. The service is the best, and the location is great with everything you need: restaurants, shops, and the beach. The rooms are very aesthetic, clean, and beautifully done. Thank you, Joy House. Just one toilet for the 4 tents. Tbh the toilet was super clean, shower had hot water and lot of pressure 🤣

When I arrived I was invited into Amed's family's home for my reception. I was greeted with kindness, Joy and felt like i was family instantly. I have never experienced something like this before. I was offered something to drink and sat on the livinroom couch surrounded by his family and friends who all made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. Amed shared with me his mission statement regarding how he is building his resort to give all visitors a truly joyful experience and stay. He and his wife are building an oasis in the jungle hillside from the ground up, with the main focus of giving their guests a truly unique and special stay. I had chosen the tent option and was truly impressed with how they had thought of everything when it came to equipping the tents with everything that I would need, including a comfortable king size bed. They are in the process of building more facilities and expanding their resort to include a yoga terrace, more washrooms, more rooms and a future pool and restaurant. The quality of the construction is superior to anything that I've seen and I worked in construction most of my life. I could go on and on a out how wonderful I was treated. Lovely stay, the tent was well equipped and the facilities were great. Short walk to Haad Rin town and beach. We were able to rent a scooter from the owner which was great fro exploring the rest of the island. He was very helpful and even took us the ferry when we were leaving. Would recommend!

We had booked an alternative accommodation for the night as we were going to the Full Moon Party. As it turns out, this accommodation had been sold to us is in error, and didn't exist. We were now in a bit of a situation as there was very little accommodation left on the island at 7pm! We found Joy Camping and Rooms, and booked a tent for the night. When we arrived, Amit the host asked why we booked so late on such a busy day. We told him, and he was angry we had been scammed, so upgraded us free of charge to a room with air con and private bathroom. He also talked us through what to expect at the party and how to enjoy it the best and safest way. Finally, he gave us his mobile number and said we could call him if we needed any help in the night. The following day we went to pay for our extras (Pringles!) and he was not available. His wife was amazingly friendly, and even invited us into their home for coffee. Overall, Amit was an amazing host. 100% would recommend.

We slept on tent and we had the best sleep in last days. We expected normal tent but it was very very comfortable. Bed was big and had very good materace. During the night temperature is perfect. We wanted extend it for more days it was already book by someone. We could stay here for one week easily. Wifi is fast, toilet is clean and nice, water is warm. Personel was super nice and helpful. I wish to have this hosts everytime.

Room was very comfortable and super clean with amazing localisation and panoramic view. It was super quiet, witch is unusual in this area. Beds was comfy, internet was fast. The most important - very helpful and kind personel. Amed is the best host in Koh Phangan. We extend our stay for more days. 100% recommend this place.

The tent in which we slept was new, comfortable and clean. Inside: large double bed, table and chairs, shelf to store our clothes and a fan. Lockers and a drinking water fountain are also available near the tent. The shared bathroom is very clean. Good location in a quiet place. Finally, the host is accomodating and easy-going and makes sure you feel at home !

The heat in the tent during the night. This can’t really be helped, it’s a tent! However something to consider if you are wanting a cool place to relax.

the tents we stayed at were right at the top of the hill which is a really steep climb and very hard to climb in the hot weather. there is no air con so it was very uncomfortable in the mornings however I think I’m cooler weather this won’t be a problem

it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. the shared bathroom was also very clean with a good shower that you could have hot or cold. the owner is very friendly, accommodating and very helpful with anything you needed such as giving advice of stuff to do and she also took our number and text us occasionally to ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything.
