It was absolutely filthy, with cockroaches in the room and shared space. Water from the shower doesn't go down as the drains are blocked, so you end up with a huge paddle. I spent a month travelling around Thailand and slept in loads of different hostels but this one was definitely in the poorest state.

I have stayed in many hostels, however this was a difficult stay unfortunately. No window in room. 6 beds with no space for luggage. The bathroom was very basic. Aircon did not work well and we had lots of mosquitos in the room due to lack of ventilation. Would not say it was particuarly cheap for the standard of the room. The hotel also is under maintenance so lots of work on during the day meaning lots of drilling etc and due to this the lobby is entirely open to the street. This felt a bit unsafe as there was no reception area/security keeping people from walking in off the street. No real area to sit in rooms or lobby.

Excellent location. Near to lots of bars/restaurants/beaches. Ideal for snorkeling trips etc and only a few minutes from the ferry terminal.

Bad experience in this hotel. Reasons: 1) There was no hot water 2) Light cuts from time to time 3) Hotel is still being built up, several noises of machines and people working 4) Roof in bad condition 5) The bed is really uncomfortable, you can feel the docks on your back 6) The sink does not have drainage pipes, it falls directly to the ground where it then falls through a sewer This hotel is not ready to be open yet

Everything was brutal.

It was the most terrible hostel I have ever stayed in. Tiny dark room with no windows and 2 bunk beds, barely enough space to walk between the bunk beds. The room smelt of mould , it was damp. The beds were as hard as a rock - plastic mattresses. We were given dirty blankets, and our towels were baby blankets. The bathroom was extremely dirty and mouldy. There was no reception , and the building was noisy. The location was the only good thing. This hostel definitely does not even deserve 10euro per night.

we knew based on the reviews that it wasn’t going to be nice, but it was beyond what we could have imagined. we arrived and it was a literal building site, there was no front wall so the ‘foyer’ was literally on the busy road. our 6 person dorm did not have a key, so it was open and therefore opened out onto the street. it was not possible to lock the door, and to make matters worse, the glass door to the dorm was smashed in and a piece of Lino was literally sellotaped to the door. there are no lockers either, so the security is literally nothing - anyone could have walked in as there was no staff presence either. in addition, the room was filthy and there were cockroaches roaming around freely (but again, this wasn’t nearly our biggest complaint and is to be expected given past reviews).

I rarely write reviews and I don‘t think I ever wrote a negative one, but I feel obliged to warn everyone considering to book this place. Everything else is a nightmare. The building is a construction site, no entrance doors and loud work begins in the evenings. The roof is leaking, the common area is full with trash and random unnecessary stuff (a broken fridge, broken chairs,…) that looks like it was taken from a garbage dump. The girl who works at the „reception“ doesn‘t really speak English and had no change when I payed in cash (obviously, it‘s not possible to pay by card). The room (Number 4) was another level of a shithole. Extremely small and cramped with two pairs of bunkbeds. One of them was unstable and the mattresses were like wooden boards. No outlets next to the upper beds. No drawers, no shelves, no lockers, only storage space was your bed. Moving on to the bathroom. Surprisingly, the room had a „private“ bathroom attached to it. „Private“ meaning that you still had no privacy whatsoever because the door was a jalousie and you could hear everything. No mirror, no shower door and the shower head was broken - after you showered, the entire room was flooded (the drain is in the furthest corner away from the actual shower). The toilet was clogged all the time. Not to mention, it was wasn‘t the cleanest place and at night mosquitoes flew into the room (No idea how!). Everyone who comes there tries to leave as soon as possible, even though it means double paying just to sleep in another hotel. 10€ PER NIGHT for this place is an impudence. YOU should be paid to stay there. It‘s criminal how much money they make with this catastrophe of a place. I honestly don‘t have high standards when it comes to hostels etc., I‘ve been to countless ones and always look for the cheapest option, so I never complain, but this just HAD to be said.

Location is alright, a 5 minute walk away from the pier. 10 minutes from the beach bars. The only positive aspect. Roommates were really nice and AC was working.

Everything To be honest it was the worst place I’ve ever stay. Of course I checked references before so I was ready. I stayed there 1 night and that’s was AWFUL. First of all there is no door! It feels like you sleep outside. Second the place is so dirty. The bathroom is terrible. No mirror, nothing works well. Everything is so old. No lockers at all

We stayed for just one night (January 2023) as backpackers. Unfortunately the property is still under construction in the main lobby and communal area. And the dorm room was very small with no windows.

The staff were really lovely and gave us lots of tips for places to visit and good restaurants that weren’t overly priced.
