I didn’t want to rent a scooter so it was a bit hard to get around as there weren’t many taxis (I visited in off-season) but this wouldn’t be an issue if you rent a scooter

Beautiful place to stay on Koh Lanta. Sareena and Lek are so warm and welcoming, communication on WhatsApp is great and we could arrange a motorbike and laundry this way. Room is very spacious, excellent a/c and shower and definitely the comfiest bed we have had in Thailand. We slept so well and it was really quiet at night. The best part is the amazing outdoor space which is right over the water at high tide and perfect for watching sunrise. The small kitchen area (fridge, microwave, hot water, sink) is perfect for preparing breakfast.

The location was absolutely beautiful, the sunrise is definitely something I would recommend if you can get up early enough! A stones throw from the Old Town itself, literally no more than 3 minutes wander. The family were so helpful, they rented us a scooter for exceptionally cheap and helped us organise boat trips and taxi transfers. Would highly recommended their restaurant Sunee Place in Old Town, the best massaman curry I’ve ever had. Special shoutout to the Roti’s that came with it as well, absolutely unreal!

We were received very kindly by the owner. She explained everything. You will stay in a cottage on the water. Very spacious and has a nice sea view and beautiful sunrise. At her mother sunee place you can eat delicious food. The town of old town is close by and very cozy. Owner can arrange everything for you.

There’s nothing to do not like about the property - it was amazing.

The properly was very clean in quet location. The owners were very friendly - they took care of us as a family. They cleaned clothes, rented a scooter for us, helped with the recommendations. The room vas super clean, no insects inside. We loved it! And generally the location is very unique - mangrove treea, hamock and etc

Super friendly host. Sareena and her aunt treat their guests as friends. Sareena would send a message ahead to make sure one knows how to get to Koh Lanta. She even provided her mobile number so that one can call her should problem arises. The house is just a few minutes walk from Old Lanta Town. Room is basic but very quiet, clean and cosy. Air con works fine and shower is hot. Wifi connection is strong. Shared patio with hammock is a great place to chill and there is a sea front platform where one can watch beautiful sunrise. A great place to relax and do nothing under a shelter away from the heat. Just note that there are no beaches around the old town. Simply rent a bike from Sareena and explore the entire island as one wishes. Beaches on the western part of the island is just 20 to 30 mins bike ride away. Nicer beaches are located southwards of khlong nin. Restaurant scene here is pretty cool. Worth your while to check them out. Sareena can help to arrange onwards transport, tours, etc. Extremely helpful. Sareena and aunt, thank you so much for your hospitality. You both are awesome!

We really enjoyed staying here, because we felt very welcomed & cared for. It's at the more quiet side of Koh Lanta, and you can experience the local life best here. We spent many hours watching the tides, which was wonderful. Serene atmosphere, sweet hosts, lovely views from the decks. The room is also very spacious, newly built and super clean. Same with the bathroom. The hosts arranged taxi services, laundry, bike rental etc.. really, couldn't have asked for more. The property is a 5min walk from old town, with many restaurants & shops. 7/11 is a 10min walk too. Would recommend if you re looking for a more authentic vibe and calm vacation.

I saw another comment about putting a window into the bedroom, and I agree that if this was a possibility, it would add another level of comfort to have daylight in there - and even a direct view outside, as it's just so scenic.

My stay at Navareeya house was really wonderful. I'm travelling with a chronic health issue and was looked after so well by Sareena, Lek and their whole family. They brought food from the family restaurant, helped out with picking up the odd thing from the shop, and organised my onward travel - always with a smile. The view from the large balcony is so tranquil and beautiful, with the sun rising directly across the stretch of water. I spent most of my time in the hammock watching the birds as the tide came in and out. The whole place looks quite new and is very clean, with everything I needed. The room I stayed in actually also has an inside lounge and its own small kitchen area. The bed was extremely comfortable.
