Absolutely amazing place—it feels like you're living in the heart of the jungle, yet with all the perks of luxury accommodation. The staff is outstanding: professional, friendly, and attentive. Eagerly awaiting my return next year.

Everything (as in every single thing and every detail) was simply amazing - truly a paradise! The pictures are very accurate. Facilities, food, drinks, staff, pool, and beach were all beyond excellent. The resort is laid out beautifully in a rain forest-style setting on the beach. The villas are spacious, very private and well decorated, there are plenty beach beds and parasols (also around the pools), the service is amazing with good food and drink selection to order on the beach, the restaurants are great and with a good variety, the breakfast is super delicious, and I could go on. We will definitely come back!

Nothing! Everything has been perfect!

Wow! Just wow! From our Arrival till we left - everything has been great, more than great! The super friendly and always helpful Staff, our wonderful Pool Suite, the Food, the Service, the Kindness we felt - whenever someone out of the Staff crossed our way, the whole Hotel Complex - so lovely with Plants just everywhere... This has been an absolutely "jackpot" Trip to wonderful Koh Phangan! And there has been nothing more to ask for! We just loved to be there, felt warmly welcome and more than super cared for! The Beach,many people from other hotels who try to stay at the anantara sunbeds. You feel not exclusive only hotel guest.

They take advantage of the people with very high prices for everything, being the only nice 5-star resort on the island. There is no kids club, so after a while boring for families with kids. The pool bar's blue LED light looks cheap and kills the atmosphere. The beach was disappointing with big waves and deep water. The hotel is on the East side so there is no sunset, and you feel isolated from the rest of the island.

It's definitely the best hotel on the island, in terms of rooms and service. Our Beach Pool Villa was amazing with the jungle bathroom and seaviews. The staff is also nice and attentive. My favourite was the Spa, it had the most beautiful location with ponds, plants and stones and the service there was excellent. The Japanese restaurant although expensive, has great fresh food.

1. Beautiful setting on a clean & quiet beach, amazing koi fish ponds running through the lagoon. Our villa was perfect - the bed was so comfy, everything was modern & luxurious. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. The staff were incredible & couldn’t have done more to make our stay more comfortable. In particular, our villa host Mui went above and beyond to make our stay very special & is a credit to the hotel. Sao also added lovely personal touches when cleaning our room.

My husband and I would like to express our gratitude to the staff of the Antara Hotel in Koh Phangan for their professionalism, attention to clients, friendliness and tact. I would like to mention the employee Tua, who, with her charm and tact, creates a wonderful mood in the client for his subsequent stay at the hotel. Tua was available 24/7, gave excellent service and advice.Moreover she did a lot of little pleasant surprises for us! It was very nice. We love you Tua !!We will definitely come back. Bed did cause me back ache so may need replacing. Lighting in the rooms was difficult it would have been nice to have more brighter lighting as an option. Also our room was quite far away from. The restaurant and up stairs which was difficult with a baby.

This was an excellent resort. Excellent service, great breakfast options, child friendly and good facilities. The beach is also good. Staff anticipated my requirements.

Not a great gym- cramped considering the price you pay for a night at this place. Not a good steam room.

Nice beach, good breakfast, - loads of LOCAL RESTAURENTS - no need to eat in the resort. Use the taxi at the ports to go to this resort cheaper.

We normally don’t go for big resorts, but the location and quality of water was fantastic. Could spend all day in the water. It was just stunning. Food wasn’t bad. We ate at the Japanese restaurant 2x and loved it. Great quality. Breakfast was good. There is a resort further down, which had a buzzing restaurant set up on the beach with fire show. As you walk out towards the water, go right.. don’t miss this!! The private pools were a little cool, so better to stay upstairs where the Sun heats it up a bit more. Also worth doing 1/2 day snorkeling, and lunch on private long tail boat, organise through hotel. This was excellent.

The location, although remote, is perfect. the villas themselves are beautiful and every little detail is highlighted. the staff were exceptional, and were there to help with your every need, especially your personal Villa host. mine was Kay and she was so knowledgeable and helpful with everything.

Just simply wonderful, faultless, beautiful hotel and fantastic staff. Beautiful beach, fabulous room, great breakfast, lovely dinner, fantastic Japanese and Thai food, could go on and on. Tua was lovely as our host but also the guys setting up the beach loungers and all the bar and restaurant staff.

The resort is beautiful, the beach close and clean, The staff is very attentive to any request, breakfast= A wide variety of options. Since our flight was in the evening, they offered us to spend the day in Koh Sumoi at another hotel of the chain - a great treat!

everything was VERY expensive. A thai massage costs 350 baht everywhere in Thailand - except Anantara where it’s 3900 baht! Yoga is either free at many hotels or 300 baht for a drop in session everywhere else but it’s over 1000 baht at Anantara. 30 mins in the steam room is 950 baht!!
