Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lobby way too hot. Aircon is required and I know they provide fans but with this level of heat, fan is no match. All is doing circulating warm air, and entrance door is open as well so it's not very pleasant.
This hotel is perfect for few days stay. Is perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle and only 5 _10 walk where all the magic happening . Reception Lady who I suppose is the owner was helpful and room and breakfast ladies always nice . Nice breakfast in the morning. Only recommendation I would have liked to be given small leaflet of the following 1. Bus station 2. What's nearby and how to get there. 3. Transfer service or recommendations 4. Place to visit etc. I personally think this will be very helpful and guest would be very appreciative. Overall stay was great.

The pillows!!!!! Most comfortable pillows put of all the places I’ve stayed in Thailand. The location is great of you’re wanting to be close to the bus stations.

Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean and the owner and staff couldn’t be more helpful. Perfect location so nice and quiet in the nights but only 15 minutes walk to khaosan road

Very friendly staff (family business), delicious Thai breakfast, close to Khaosan and the piers to go everywhere - including BTS and MRT. The place is nice and clean.

The alleys leading to the accommodation do look like a maze and there were many stray cats.
The reception staff waited for me late at night to arrive. I got a free upgrade to my room though had to climb up 5 flight of stairs frequently. The aircon was brand new, comfy bed and memory foam pillows were provided. I love the local homecooked breakfast prepared every by the lady staff every morning and the housekeeping people arrived early each morning doing their jobs. The owner was friendly and hospitable. You can find some good local Thai food restaurants nearby such as Jok Phochana.

My room was on the 5th floor, and there was no lift, but the exercise was good.
Close to Khaosan Rd nightclub area, but very quiet. Basic room, was cleaned every day. There was a safe in the room. Simple cooked breakfasts included - they catered for me as a vegan quite well - vegies with rice and some fruit. Note that it isn't a buffet.

The location is surprisingly quiet, given its location not too far from the busy areas of Khao San Road etc. The breakfast included was a fantastic addition to the stay, and there were lots of other eateries nearby for lunch and dinner.

Clean and comfortable and in a great location in a quiet street close to restaurants, etc. The breakfast was very good and they thoughtfully checked before I arrived about any dietary requirements. Best of all, I had a balcony where i could sit and watch life in the street below. I would definitely choose Roof View for my next stay.

The breakfast was a little small, and they didn't, unless I missed something, have a free water cooler for guests' use. I'm trying to come up with something else to criticize, but I can't.
I don't think that the photos do this place justice. Although they look small, the rooms are well laid-out, with a little writing (or dining) table, space to dry (or hang) your clothes, a properly separated bathroom (the toilet is tucked away from the shower so as not to get flooded), great ventilation, good Wi-Fi, and good security. Checking in was easy, the staff were welcoming and spoke good English, and the neighbourhood itself is lovely: it's next to the main sights, but Thais also live there, and it's quiet. I would highly recommend Roof View Place and would happily stay here again.

There’s no lift but in my case it wasn’t a problem
Great location, clean, hot shower, air con, lift for the luggage. They store your luggage free for 3 days in case you need it. Everyone is very kind

Very good location, near supermarkets. Easy walk or taxi ride to the city center. The stuff friendly and the room clean. In the future maybe the cab out a door in the bathroom instead of a curtain 🫣
