Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyWe just did not feel 100% comfortable due to a variety of different reasons (room seemed a bit outdated; cleanliness was not perfect; here and there it did not smell nicely; we both did not feel well after our first lunch in the restaurant and got sick).
Location and overall set up of the resort is just amazing

DenmarkThere were no umbrellas for shadow by the pool.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull. We could free of charge use the kayaks and SUP boards. The sushi bar was great - very fresh sushi and the sushi pieces were very big! As we are travelling with a baby, we were not comfortable driving scooters, but Seavana had a gulf vart we could rent for 800 baht and drive around the whole island! That was amazing! All in all this is an amazing place! We really enjoyed our stay!

PolandEverything was perfect. Bring bug spray, coconut oil and something to help with the bites e.g Fenistil because of the sand flies. Usually bugs and mosquitos love me but I managed to survive with just few bites :)
Seavana is amazing. Perfect place to relax and chill on a beautiful beach. The villas are spacious and nicely designed. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Restaurant serves really good food. The beach is gorgeous. One of my favorite places in Thailand.

Amazing location. We were right on the sea front. The restaurant was lovely and it was a high standard of cuisine at a good price.

United KingdomThe toilet/showroom didn't have an exstraction fan so was extremely hot. Sand flies ( can't be helped, and staff do warn you of this) bring coconut oil or repellent.
The staff were all so helpful. Pick up from the pier when we arrived and check in was very smooth! We arrived before 2pm and the rooms were already ready. It was my husband's birthday and the staff went above and beyond, the housekeeping team set the towels into a cake and the reception/resturant staff organised a cake for after dinner as a surprise, little extra touches made all the difference. The rooms were large and seating area outside was lovely. Hammocks and deck chairs directly on the beach, what more could you want? Free use of SUP boards and Kayaks ( recommend to kayak to the Island opposite, its beautiful!). Minimart 5 minute walk from the resort. We hired a golf buggy from the resort and it was great fun to explore the island with the children ( cinnamon boardwalk is beautiful).. Breakfast was excellent and great coffee! Beds were comfy, plenty of towels and beach towels provided.

FinlandThe suite seafront villa was a bit outdated, the curtains in the shower were dirty, the bed was hard, the pillows also rather hard. The location was peaceful but far away, and without a taxi tai or a motorbike it was hard to get to other bars and restaurants. The beach was very shallow and in low tide there was a sand island rather than sea in front of the villa. But this was compensated by a very good pool.
Nice seafront villa, beautiful sea view, wonderful swimming pool, very peaceful place, good breakfast, good food in the restaurant.

This is our second time visiting this resort. The location is amazing right on the most beautiful beach in the island. The staff are lovely especially Jim that had made our stay there even more special and really assisted with arrangements for our travel to and from the island. The hotel is also vegan friendly.

Netherlands- pool water could be more clean - not too many pool beds and people bring their towel very early before breakfast to secure a spot. We don’t like that. - our sea view was separate with a big green water but from there many mosquito visit our room
- service! Very high standard people welcoming people - free pick up = very nice and premium - breakfast = so good and clean! - Japanese bar man was so nice to us and he made amazing cocktails. Really made our evening. - the best bed we had in Thailand! So soft - we loved the music box in our room

LithuaniaThe only downside was the poor breakfast. However, the coffee in the restaurant was terrific. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning our next trip back here. P.S. I was worried about getting bitten by sandflies since I have an allergy and had a bad experience last year in the Philippines. However, I applied coconut oil every day and didn’t have any problems.
We stayed in the Beach Front Suite for three nights during our month-long trip to Thailand. This was our second location of many to come. I am writing this review after our trip, and I highly recommend this as one of the best places we stayed during our journey. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are in Koh Mak. Our room was unique and offered a lot of privacy. We even tanned naked on the terrace on the second floor. The hotel offers yoga classes led by a yoga teacher from Belgium who has been living here for 8 years. It was an incredible experience. During our 3-day stay, I was able to have a private lesson with her and participate in two group activities. We also had a 2-hour workshop where we released a lot of emotions and had a great time.

Stayed in one of 6 beachfront suites for 6 nights. Picked up by staff at Ao Nid Pier on arrival and driven to Makathanee Pier after checking out. Firstly all staff (reception and restaurant) are courteous and helpful. They surprised me with special “treats” on my 60th birthday. Definitely the highlight of our stay. The beachfront villa is comfortable, quiet and spacious and clean. We didn’t use the jacuzzi but I love the upstairs lounge area which, like the bedroom downstairs, has an uninterrupted view of the beach, ocean and Koh Mak. The only sound is the calm waves. Staff clean the beach daily. Two lounge chairs at the back facing the klong provide a different view to enjoy. We used the happy-hour bar for cocktails and good sushi. Love to lounge there on bean bags. Breakfast at Daybed Restaurant, which is included, offers 6 different entrees, fresh fruits, yogurts, breads/nice jams (passionfruit especially) and coffee/tea. We had 4 dinners there and they didn’t disappoint. Service is excellent. Menu has extensive choices. Local Thai desserts are a must to try. The pool is refreshing but we swam at the beach mostly. We borrowed masks and snorkels at the reception. Beach is quite shallow but we saw some coral fish. Kayaks are free to rent for first couple of hours. You could rent motorbikes to roam around the small island but we rented a golf cart. However, the resort is within walking distance to Koh Mak Resort (to access Koh Kham by small boat), Cococape Resort (to access Blue Pearl Bar at the private pier for sunset and snorkeling many coral fish)and Ao Khao (to access the beach, restaurants/cafes, minimarts, shops and pharmacy). We enjoyed our stay at this resort.

CanadaWasn’t a fan of the food, perhaps we didn’t give it a chance. Spring rolls were inedible but the burger was good. Also, we had a love-hate relationship with the bats. They are so cool to watch in the evening but they leave a terrible mess on our upper deck. I can’t imagine the amount of effort that goes into cleaning the room after we leave.
Gorgeous two level suite on the ocean! Comfort is 10/10 and the ocean was spectacular. The staff works very hard to keep the grounds clean and everyone is friendly. We really liked happy hour, the bartenders make some wicked drinks that we enjoyed on our patio.

RomaniaI have no complaints and would return anytime to Seavana!
I am convinced that Seavana was the perfect stay for us and would return anytime. The villas are very clean, the rooms have a cool design and they are located either on the beach or between the trees and a small river, but with sea view as well. Also, each room has cute little books that you can read to relax. The food was amazing, staff extremely helpful and friendly. You can rent snorkeling kits, free bikes and kayaks, as well as scooters that you pay a daily fee for. The staff helped us by booking ferries for us and getting us to and from the pier. The restaurant, bar, reception and pool are right on the beach, together with sun beds and hammocks. We had no problem with the sandflies, though I must say that we applied mosquito repellent frequently, when we got out of the water and before going outside.
