Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThere was definitely nothing to complain about.
The lovely hosts picked us up at a late train from Bangkok and this extremely friendly attitude remained through our whole stay. The room is very comfortable, it is quiet and the cafe in the ground floor provides excellent cafe and food. Going to Ao Manao beach is an easy 15 minute bike ride. What ever you need is not more than 5 minutes away. We extended our stay cause we loved it so Much.

GermanyThe bathroom did not smell well at all, which could be because of the sea.
As we arrived we got a free welcoming drink in the cafe downstairs. Our room was clean and very beautiful. It consisted of two floors. But we didn’t really use the small upper floor as it was to hot. The staff were really friendly and gave us a free ride to the bus station. They also rent out bicycles for free. The location is also nice, it’s just a hacker walk to the promenade and many restaurants.

United KingdomVery sweet hotel with very helpful staff and manager, spotlessly clean. A fine example of a traditional wooden building adapted for it's present use as a bakery with accommodation above.

LuxembourgWe booked two rooms in this hotel, and both were very nice! You really see that somebody put a lot of detail to the arrangement of the rooms. The beds were amongst the softest of our trip, and we already stayed in many places. The bathroom was sparkling clean. The owners have a little bakery downstairs, were we had breakfast. They also offered us a welcome drink. I really recommend this place!

United KingdomNothing really.
The family and staff who ran were extremely helpful and friendly. They clearly enjoyed being hospitable to their guests, and that is a refreshing quality. We had a welcome drink when we arrived, and the family helped us out with lifts around town when they could. The hotel is very modern, smart and attractive. For such a nice place the price was good. Close to the seafront and the bars and restaurants. There is a smart AC cafe on site with very good coffee. Every coffee comes with complimentary Chinese tea Just south of the town is a beautiful beach, Ao Manao, where we spent 2 lovely days. The high steep-sided hill of Khao Chong Krajok with its beautiful Buddhist temple is a must to visit. Even if it's just to see the hordes of monkeys that live on its edges.

United KingdomLoved everything about the place
I struggle to describe how much I enjoyed staying here. The place just feels cool .. styling feels like 1920’s French imperial chic .. think Hotel du Vin or Cafe Rouge. There is an awesome little Coffee shop in the entrance. What really makes it pop are the staff. They couldn’t be more helpful. After a lot of travelling it was nice to be in a place I felt personally connected. Cannot wait to return !

GermanyWe enjoyed our stay in Prachuap very much. Srisanor is a lovely renovated traditional teak house with great, helpful family staff. We felt very welcome the minute we arrived. Great that we could use bikes for free. We even got a matress to take for the beach. The Café is very cosy and tasty cakes, coffee and Snacks are served. We totally recommend this place!

United KingdomThe property was lovely with an onsite cafe. Had a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival. Our host Jan was amazing in helping us arrange transport and activities while we were there and the breakfast was amazing and plentiful. You can chose between a Thai breakfast or American. This was accompanied with a platter of fresh fruits, coffee and juice. Jan’s niece even helped us get to the bus station and assisted us buy our tickets and arranged for us to connect with another bus on route to take us to our final destination. Jan and her family/team were super helpful to us and this make our stay even more special. Thank you

GermanyA very nice and well maintained old wooden house in the historical part of the city. The hosts a very friendly and helpful. They even provided a ride to the railway station in the middle of the night. Also the little café downstairs is cute and delicious homemade cakes are served. They have also a green tiny courtyard and an airy rooftop terrace. Everything was perfect. One should only take into account it’s an historical house so it isn’t soundproof and the facility can’t compared to a newly built house.

CanadaWhat a beautiful historical home on a street that dates back to the 1700s. The room exceeded all expectations and the staff were wonderful. I really enjoyed the area too. There's a great laundry place just down the street and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The beach and boardwalk are so close by too. The walls are thin but that's part of the experience of being in such a wonderful building.

United KingdomRoom was very small and the shower room was tiny with nowhere to put anything. The mezzanine floor was unusable as the staircase is so steep and it's boiling hot up there. Also the walls are paper thin and unfortunately on one night we had neighbours who had their TV on all the time and were also on their phones constantly, we could hear every word.
Really liked the location on a pretty street at the quiet end of town. 2 mins walk to the promenade and 15 to the pier/night market. Very friendly host. Very comfortable bed with quality bedding. Lots of character to the traditional building

ThailandNo elevator (the staff can help to carry luggage through).
A lovely wooden house near the beach. The room is clean. The bed is comfortable. The shower is good. The drinking water in the room uses glass bottles. It also has a cafe, which provides delicious spaghetti. Restaurants and 7-11 are nearby. The staff are friendly. It is a wooden house so it is not sound proof at all. But it’s a small town and almost no vehicles on the street nearby in the late night.
