Regis and Monica have created the absolutely stunning Sukkho estates, a small collection of luxury villas perfectly tucked into the landscape with breath-taking vistas, which can be enjoined from every room or from the private infinity pools . Lots of thought has gone into the planning and orientation of the villas offering beautiful sunrise views and privacy from neighbours. The hospitality from everyone at Sukkho was top notch , Regis was fantastic in explaining what the island had to offer , even took time to sit down and tailor activities to our tastes. Then proceed to arrange everything we wanted to see and do , which made our stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. The villa was very well equipped with everything you could think of , including a great selection of wines. I'm confident if you needed anything else the team here would be able to arrange it for you . Tips try the delicious pastries from a local bakery delivered freshly baked and still warm every morning 😋. Personal highlight of the stay was having the private chef come to the villa and prepare an amazing Thai menu for us . Thanks again for an amazing stay 🙏 we look forward to returning in the future.

Up a steep hill that is not really walkable, but that was a trade-off for the spectacular views.

We stayed in villa Veasana. One of 3 villas built so far on the plot, with 4 more to come online later this year. Delightful oasis conveniently located for east coast of the island. A nice cross between a 5* hotel and a fully self-catered villa. Better privacy and peace, better control over extras, and easier distance to life outside, than a hotel, but more support and hotel-like services than going it alone. All mod cons, including great huge TV with all the streaming services built in for sofa time in the evenings. Fantastic views of the sea from every room (that was the dealmaker for us) even when you are sitting on the loo in the master bathroom! The joy of waking up to glorious views , soft breeze from the overhead fan with the terrace doors open (there is aircon but we didn’t use at night) was unparalleled. Didn’t want to get out of bed, and could have just chilled staring out at the view in between tooling around on iPad, or lolling around in the pool early in the morning, but there was so much to explore and so many beach clubs to try out for a bit of interaction and different vibe. Beautifully kitted out property, totally private, with nobody overlooking. Be aware that in high season (Jan/Feb) the sun does not rise directly from the east, but east-southeast, so no sunbathing at that time of year on the pool deck. A corner of the pool was in the sun for a few hours in the morning, but sunbathing is bad for you anyway and the shady breeze was fabulous! What really makes it is the amazing host Regis, who has put so much passion into the project, is super responsive, very reliable and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the island, connections to rival the smartest concierge and ability to draw out and understand your tastes and match them to what’s on offer around the island.

absolutely nothing, the property is perfect!

The design of the Villa was outstanding, and the view was breathtaking! We were welcomed by Régis, the owner, and were completely taken care of from A-Z during our entire stay. He provided us with everything we needed from activities, transportation, dining experiences. The villa has great privacy for people looking for a more private option.
