Taxi cannot go at the hotel door because there are tram lines. It’s just 2 mints walk from the door and staff comes and picks all the luggage from the road and bring it to your room so no worries at all.

They have very nice and cosy rooms and lovely breakfast. The staff will always help you even its 3 am at night. They are very hospitable people. Hotel is also at the best location. Tram station is just 2 to 3 mints walk away. All the restaurants and shops are also close by.

Amazing hotel. Perfect location. 10 minutes to Hagia Sophia and Yerebatan cistern, 10 minutes to Eminonu Square and Egyptian Bazaar, 100 m tram stop Gulhane. The staff was friendly. Our room was comfotable and big (family room). Always clean. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.

Location is top notch! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy everyday. They even prepared our breakfast in bags when we left to Airport at 4.30am. We had the family suite for 3 of us and our stay was comfortable and spacious for all the luggages.

Personnel was great. Ilham at the counter speaks multiple languages and is very nice and helpful. Central location is great. Black Tulip is the name of the hotel and not Black Pearl as per booking.com which is a bit confusing.

Well a lot to this review . The experience itself was amazing. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone. The staff very professional, friendly and helpful. The entire facility was always clean. The location was perfect and within walking distance in Old Instanbul to all of the historical sites. I left an item and the staff promptly contacted me and made arrangements to have it sent. Apologies on my part for the confusion over delivery. Great communication before, during and after the stay. Thank you: Mr. Mohamed, Mr. IIham, Mr. Fuat, Mr.Arif (thank you twice!), Mr. Safak, and Mr. Numan.

This was a terrific property. The staff was incredibly nice and extremely helpful. They helped with the airport transfers and helped us book a couple of activities while we were in Istanbul. This was a great property, and we would definitely stay here again. Finally, the hotel was conveniently located. We did not rent a car, rather we walked everywhere we wanted to go.

The hotel is very conveniently located, at walking distance from the main tourist sites and there are plenty of shops and restaurants on the street. The breakfast is very good and the staff is very supportive and helpful. The wifi connection was good and the room, although not very big, was comfortable and very clean.

We highly recommend this hotel! Upon arrival, we were offered different options to get upgraded and ended up with 2 contiguous rooms that perfectly suited our needs. All members of the staff were extremely helpful and nice during our 4-night stay. The breakfast was great, the rooms comfortable and the location really convenient, close to everything. We couldn't possibly have chosen a better place!

Location was very close to tourist areas. Blue Mosque, water cistern, grand bazaar and Egyptian Spice bazaar all within walking distance. Close to 'hop on hop off' terminal. Tram line directly outside the hotel. Breakfast was outstanding. Beautifully laid out and an enormous choice. Cooked breakfast options were large and changed regularly. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Room was kept very clean. Wifi was very good. Lots of restaurants around - although we couldn't use any as one member has a nut allergy and it was difficult to work out what was safe.

Everything was exceptional. The staff were so friendly, helpful and their hospitality was remarkable. The room was so clean and specious. There was diverse selection of food at the breakfast and everyday there was something new and different. The location is amazing, it is in the central of everything(markets, museums, historical places, park, restaurants , sea ,etc..) all sightseeing places can be visited by walk. I strongly recommend this hotel and I would visit it again.
