The staff are very friendly and meticulous. The hotel location is close to the tramway, which make it easier for your transportation. The rooms are cozy and very clean as well.

Room was a little small, i mean when out of bed not much place ..but well, this is not a problem. Room was warm, but then i turn off heat and much better. Breakfast had a lot of choice but warm food was too cooked. Nothing too bad, all still very ok, therefore I give a 9 almost 10!

Staff was very friendly, location is perfect, literally 1,5 blocks away from Aya Sofya, and 8min walking from Marmaray metro statios that connects to airport. Good warm water, clean, free thee in the room and breakfast included. A lot of choice in the breakfast.

I would highly recommend!! I had a layover in Istanbul and chose Hotel Vera for its positive reviews on Booking. Location was perfect especially if you plan on walking to local attractions and want to be near plenty of food and shopping areas. I arrived late (around 9pm) and was able to find plenty of late night food options within 5 minute walking distance. The staff was extremely friendly and had perfect communication throughout my stay. They were thoughtful, proactive, and even helped me out by communicating/coordinating with my driver for my private transfer to the airport. I really appreciated the level of thoughtfulness and kindness they put into making guests feel comfortable. It made a huge difference and put me at ease, as I was only in Turkey for 20 hours and was a bit worried about logistics. Many thanks to the staff for making me short stay so smooth and enjoyable. The room was clean and looked just like the pictures on Booking. Breakfast was well organized and yummy. I appreciated the small disposable cups which allowed me to drink my tea while I walked around Istanbul.

WiFi could improve, sometimes loose the connection. TV channels could be updated (especially not able to access World Cup matches).

Amazing location in the middle of Sultanahmet walking distance to majority of the attractions. The hospitality of the staff has been great, all welcoming and helpful, we also felt safe within the property and comfortable. Big shout to the bed sooooo comfortable!

All staff were exceptional and very nice . All amenities are easily accessible and the hotel is located in a very quiet and safe area.

Rooms weren’t voice proof and it was a discomfort. poor wifi.

We loved location. it was really great. Staff was excellent, especially Javid, who helped us in most difficult situation and gave us room far more early than check-in time. Hotel manager was awesome guy also. Room was tidy and cozy. water in bathroom was great.

Very good value for money. Unbeatable location. Quiet street at night, you can rest well. Small rooms and bathroom, but clean and the best thing is the kindness and attention of the staff. They give great advice and care about the guests. Highly recommended if your budget is not buoyant.

The rooms are bit small and not too isolated, but very clean and finally confortable.

Very good location near Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque and other atractions We apreciated the rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast was complete and personal very kind and helpful. Faruk, the receptionist help us with information and transport organisation. He was always present when we needed him. We recomand Vera Hotel for these atouts.

the room was bit overcrowded with beds and less floor space. also getting up to the top floor was bit of a risk with kids as the stairs wasn’t so comfortable.

I met the owner, he was a lovely guy, also the manager (faruk) was very helpful, he was able to speak English and that was very helpful for us travelling who only can speak English. he helped by telling us which places are good to visit and nearby. he also tried to resolve all the problems I faced in the hotel. I must say it was a lovely hospitality from the management of this hotel.

Faruk and Javed were amazing. I’ve been across the world and travelled to Turkey twice, but these two were extremely nice and supportive. Faruk helped before I even landed and kept contact until I was at the hotel which is very rare and I was very pleased with that experience. While at the hotel Faruk and Javed were very helpful and supportive. Always at hand when need. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others thanks to their hospitality.
