Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Door to bathroom was opening very noisy (301), need to fix it. Furniture is pretty old.
Very good location, superfast Wi-Fi (50-95Mb), delicious breakfast, friendly staff. Perfect hotel for such amount of money!

Staff was not that helpful. They were unresponsive to questions and didn't help to guide us around the area.
Room was small compared to price. Location was excellent, near to the old town. Breakfast was delicious.

Room is so small that even you cannot open you bag on ground. You need to put it on your bed either Infront of bathroom door leading to blocking way for main entrance of room. Rest everything is perfect in hotel
Location was ideal to live in old town near Marina. Staff will help in everything about visiting places and routes. Breakfast was also good.

They didn’t put the soap on my first day and didn’t clean everyday.
The location is just awesome - next the the old town and the sea. The breakfast was good :)

The bathroom conditions - shower and toilet need renovation. Plus, the cleanness of the room could be better.
Definitely one of the receptionists has a high, great standard of client service. Always helpful, solves troubles right away and jokes with english-speaking guests. Great service! The hotel also has a good location, right next to the Old Town. Overall, we are happy with our stay.

There are two distinctive things about this hotel, the first is the location , it was near to the harbor and the second is (Abo Baker) the hotel's receptionist, he was very helpful with me

Certainly, one should not expect much from the cheap hotel like Mevre. However, I was sad to note that there is no way to get any boiling hot water in the after hours after the breakfast, neither in the room, nor in the lobby: in the future, the guest should bring their own kettle, if they want to have some tea. Having a kettle in the lobby won't be a big expense for the hotel, making the guests much better. The receipt was provided to me only in Turkish, so it is not simple to use.
The hotel is low cost at a good location, easy to access from the airport, and there are places around to eat and buy food in shops. The sea is nearby, and the park with a good view. The staff is friendly and the reception open 24h. The room has an aircon but I had no need to try it as the weather was not hot.

Bathroom was too small with strange door which didn’t lock. Water didn’t drain while you are showering. There was no ceiling light.
The room was quite comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great with a large selection of dishes.
