Breakfast was very minimal. No hot options at all. No option of food after breakfast. Even salt not available after breakfast.

One of the cave rooms was quite cold and damp when we first checked in. It took several hours to warm up. I guess that's what a 'cave room' is like in late March.

Great location and wonderfully decorated rooms. Lucky to have the hot air balloons traveling directly over the hotel one morning. Helpful and courteous staff.

Hotel is located in Caushin which is 10 to 15 minutes drive to Goreme centre which is not a big deal as we've got a better view of the hot-air balloon and there were tourist spots that are walkable from the hotel. Just a note for the hotel, they can maybe add more information or brief guest regarding the touristy places nearby as we've got to know them ourselves.

Staff are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful; they helped us book taxis for airport transfer and for a customize tour and also booked a tour through a travel agent. We checked out at 4:40 am and they made an effort to prepare us breakfast before we leave. The room is very clean and spacious. It was great to experience living in a cave. The room temperature is always cold, glad there is a heater. I personally love the terrace in the rooftop, where you can get a great view of the hot air balloons in the morning. It is close to some tourist attractions, Rose Valley is a 28 minute hike, there is also an old historical village nearby and an area you can hike where you can see a good view of the sunset.

Truly memorable stay, the hospitality was fantastic. The gentleman that received us was kind and very helpful. The highlight for me was my room!!! The decor in my cave room and even an old rotary telephone that was working!! It was clean and what a huge shower!!

The walk from the bottom road was very steep, had a good cardio work out. Breakfast for $9 was a bit pricey but there where other places you could find hot breakfast

The location was excellent. Prime position to watch the hot air balloons whilst enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. The room was lovely and cosy. All aspects of the room was great including having a safe to store our travel documents. I would book this place again any time

Breakfast was very European, not sure whether they would of cooked eggs for us or not, as the woman in the kitchen didn’t have any English, that said all were very friendly

This is a great location situated outside Goreme but with amazing views and had the balloons flight right over our head. We had a very dodgy rental car that started to fall apart and Cesar the gentleman on reception was amazing, calling the car rental company and then trying to fix the car himself, and the next day when the window wouldn’t wind up he helped us again and took our keys and arranged everything with the car rental company. He also called us when we didn’t know whether the balloons would fly so we didn’t miss the spectacle. He made our stay there great! thanks Cesar!

The area around the hotel was a bit quiet particularly in the evenings; however, there were a handful of nice restaurants nearby.

The location is very scenic and great views of the air balloons can be had a 5 minute walk from your hotel room. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the rooms are amazing and the set breakfast is very tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

Amenities are a bit old. Breakfast is all bread and cheese, no oatmeal or fruits. But it’s a regular breakfast anywhere in Turkey and just my personal dislike.

Staff is amazing, they take care of anything you need. super friendly and helpful. Location is convenient for hiking, Rose Valley is a walking distance. Hotel is located in a quiet village, just few shops and restaurants nearby, very tranquil.

Everything was perfect

We loved everything about the property. First of all the hotel looked beautiful and was very modern. The room was amazing with the space. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was perfect and the tub was very enjoyable. The location afforded great views across the valley where the hot air balloons would gather. Perfect sunrises could be observed by simply climbing the adjacent stairs outside. The hotel sits on a steep hill so we preferred getting a taxi to the hotel. It is next to the charming village that allows easy access to the surrounding hiking trails and wonderful restaurants nearby. The staff from the beginning in reception until we left at breakfast were simply outstanding, friendly, happy and this created a happy vibe to the place. They can organize any activity you could wish for. This is the place that we will stay again and suggest to friends and family looking for a chilled holiday to return to when in Cappadocia because it is quiet and the views were stunning, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Wifi was not reliable

Enjoyed our 3 day stay at Phocas Cave Suites. Views from our King Suite room were amazing and staff were extremely friendly and also helped rebook our baloon flights when it seemed impossible given the previous day cancellation of all flights.. Beekir himself is a pilot with Kappadocia Baloons and the flight with them was memorable. We also enjoyed ATV and all day taxi tour organized by them. Overall would strongly recommend PCS

The staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, they arranged trips, gave advice on best things to see and where to eat within the short time we were there. Rooms amazing and authentic, bed very comfortable, and clean. The cave room fulfilled our expectations, the photos on their advert are exactly as depicted. Perfect location for balloon watching and historic sites. Thankyou for making our stay way more than we expected, will definitely come and stay again.

Not really.

Cozy environment. Friendly staff and management. (Also cute little kittens and their mother) They help you with anything you need, whether it's related to the establishment or not. We needed some guidance since there is so many places to visit. Mr Bekir helped us with the places, gave some info about them to understand if we would want to visit or not. Just like a guide, he made us a roadmap. The place is close to restaurants and shops. So you can get whatever you need by walking for couple minutes. As for the room, we stayed in cave suit. It was really big and comfortable. Huge bathroom, big enough living room area to fit 3 beds easily. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was really good. Mostly homemade stuff. The view on the terace was amazing. If you don't want a baloon ride, you can go to terrace in the morning and see them flying above you. Sight to remember.. I strongly recommend this place.

Excellent hotel! The location is Cavusin is very nice, and there aren’t many tourists like in Göreme. They have a bus shuttle service to/ from the airport for 150l/pp, which is a good price! You can start hikes to rose and red valleys from there. The staff is really nice and helpful! First, the offered us a bigger room because it was our honey moon :) Once, we asked for a taxi and since none was available, he offered us to drive us himself! Everyone at the hotel was really kind, some of them are hot ballons pilots of you want to fly with them!

There is a severe lack of ventilation in the rooms which results in a very hot and humid environment. There was no fan in the room either which made sleeping quite uncomfortable.

The staff was amazing, the location was amazing and the rooms and the property was beautiful.
