Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAll was perfectly decent given th eprice we paid!
Well located, a short walk from main town facilities and the basilika. On a pleasant, quiet "backstreet". Host very amenable, giving us a wi-fi router to put in our rooms to maximise signal Shower facilities in our rooms very good, but watch out for the extremely hot water - run the tap first before switching it to shower and standing under it. Very accommodating with breakfast, which was one of the best we had during our stay (generally, Turkish breakfast is not similar to, or to the taste of British tourists) Room clean and bed comfortable.

United States of AmericaThe room had a humidity odor, the bathroom door did not close ant the toilery sit malfunctioned, there are no hooks to hang towels or coats nor there are any hangers, nobody ever came to clean or empty the garbage eventhough we asked the receptionist. We had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper. It's a little far from the train station.
The special attention provided by the owner and the price. The owner arranged tours for us. Also, make sure I had a sandwich ready for me to take away. They have a small bar and there is happy hour from 7 to 9. The hotel was clean at all times. The location is quiet.

United KingdomThere was some road noise in the evening but this didn't bother us particularly. Little things like the curtain hooks needing replacing, no batteries in the safe and the shower head needing descaling...the checkout time is 1200 and the check-in is 1400 which is great but I suspect its quite tough for the staff to do a thorough turn around on the rooms in that timescale so that they can do the detailed stuff. Sort out these little issues, and it was a straight 10 !👍
This is a lovely little hotel in a perfect location, next to the mosque and St John Basilicia in the old part of town. It's very pretty with nice cafes in both the old and new parts to walk to. It also has its own cafe and bistro on a fabulous roof terrace with great views where you take breakfast, dinner, or sundowners. The staff and Mehmet, the manager, were super attentive and helpful. The rates we got were great value for money. Typical large Turkish breakfast and the chef made us stuffed aubergines for dinner as there was nothing else vegetarian on the menu, which we appreciated. For us, this hotel was near perfect. We could easily park our 2 motorcycles right out front. The bed was huge and super comfy, as was the room generally.

I was in this hotel 8 years ago and I visited it again. In the meantime, the hotel has been completely renovated. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Parking in front of the hotel. A few steps from St. John's Basilica. Beautiful terrace with a view (including some rooms ) on the Temple of Artemis. The breakfast is solid and usual for smaller hotels in Turkey

United KingdomVery friendly, helpful staff. The highlight is the rooftop terrace, with two levels, where you can have (an excellent) breakfast in the morning and relax with a drink and a board game in the evening. The location is terrific, right across the street from the Isa Bey Mosque and the Basilica of St. John.

United KingdomThe male staff member wasn't very attentative. Was watching videos whilst at his desk. I had some questions but he didn't answer them fully. Could be more professional.
Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The ac worked well. There were places to sit like a common room and terrace.

Turkeybathroom could be a bit more cleaner as i found some hair in shower. Minibar's door was hardly closed, probably it needs a check. Rest was good and comfortable. I can suggest this place for any Selcuk trip.
Location is so good, very close to old citadel. 5 mins walk away to the heart of Selcuk town. Breakfast is quiet delicious and your view from the terrace is awesome. You can enjoy their terrace for breakfast and also for chilling in the evening or night.

GermanyOnly tiny downside was that the wifi on the lower floor didn't reach the room well.
The location was great, the rooms were nice and big with beautiful beds and one room with bath tub. Breakfast in the morning was a lot and kept us going for the day. Staff is friendly and Mehmet went out of his way to help us get access to a site that was closed for renovation.

NorwayOlder building and facilities need some improvement. The AC was leaking water in the first room we got, though that was resolved quickly and we moved to another room. Cleaning could be improved too, the shower drain was clogged with hair in the second room so the water didn't drain properly, and we saw glasses left from last night on the terrace tables in the morning.
Fantastic location and friendly staff, great value for money. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace a lot, both for breakfast and for drinks in the evening. Great laid-back vibe overall, we enjoyed our stay.

TurkeyI had written via booking.com that we were to arrive late (2 AM), but there was nobody at the reception. There was a phone number on the door which I was able to call and they came in less than 5 minutes, so it wasn't a problem at all. But it could have been if I didn't have a working phone on me. They simply hadn't seen the final message I sent after the plane landed. Just make sure you receive a confirmation of your message about late arrival times and make sure you've made concrete arrangements for late check-ins. Otherwise it was very smooth.
Flexibility of staff. Upgrade of room. Staff was very helpful with looking after perishables during the day after we checked-out.
