Lovely rooms and great value for money. The staff were nice and helpful, and the breakfast was good. We also enjoyed the nearby town, though it was a taxi ride away from Gerome, which is where many sights are.

Nothing really - room wasn't cleaned on second day which meant we ran out of teabags but minor point !!

Lovely hotel - rooms all around a courtyard. Quirky feel with ancient art all around. Lovely seating area outside everyone's room. Breakfast was excellent and the open fire in the breakfast room was a bonus on chilly mornings.

Excellent location very close to Goreme and close to all land marks. Very clean and beautiful property with excellent staff with great customer care. Well maintained spacious rooms and bathroom fully furnished and well decorated. Murat the front desk guy is very sweet and goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable.

The breakfast was so delicious, they have got good varieties to choose . The hotel is just amazing, a little museum to look around and just a day is not enough to spend in the hotel. the cave rooms were extra ordinary. I will definitely visit again.

Internet could have been better. Since they have created multiple SSIDs for the wifi, those interferes with each other. So it's better to have a single SSID.

The flat was full of cultural characteristics and decorations. the kitchenette area was small but we didn't need to cook. It has what we needed, a kettle and a sink. Could have been better with bins in the bedrooms. We enjoyed very much the buffet breakfast. It was the first time we had honey from an actual honey comb! Lots of choices of traditional Turkish breakfast items and Turkish tea or other juices!

The staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean and so nice. Breakfast was a variety, and everything was delicious. Location is also nice it is close to the historical bridge and bazaar, and old town. And they also gave us a small gift.

There was nothing not to like.

The hotel is quite nice and the rooms are beautifully furnished with vintage furniture and objects. It's well worth exploring the building, as each room has a different layout. The personnel was very nice and made us feel welcome. Also, they were very helpful and provided valuable hints about the best places to visit in Cappadocia, some of which are not included in the usual tours. Before booking tours or ballloon flights in the area you should check first with them, as they helped us get better prices than tourism agencies in town. Our room was on the ground floor, it was quite large and had everything needed but slippers are a must, as the building is made of stone, and the floor is a bit cold. There is a terrace from where one can see the surrounding area and the ballons in the morning. Breakfast is diverse and plentiful, with lots of fruit and turkish dishes. There are tables in the courtyard and also an enclosed area for breakfast, with a fireplace where they lit a fire every morning during our stay. There is parking available near the entrance or in an enclosed private space up the street. As a bonus, they have several playful cats.

The staff is very kind and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful,comfortable and exquisitely decorated. Breakfast every morning is a wonderful treat. It is in a wonderful quiet area so there is no noise at night. It is perfectly located to walkout into the cute little town and also a central place to drive to any place in the Cappadocia region

Not much, towels can be changed often.

Really spacious rooms, great antique decor yet modern amenities. And the best breakfast!! If you get up early you can watch the hot air balloon from the balcony of the hotel.

Just one tiny thing was that we only had one towel in the room, but I kept forgetting to ask for more which I am sure they would have accommodated.

We loved our stay at Sofa Hotel, we had an upstairs stone suite which was soo roomy and we loved the Turkish decor with one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in on our three months travelling Europe. The breakfast was absolutely amazing they provided such a huge array of delicious options to keep you full for hours while you explore this gorgeous region!! The wifi was fantastic and we loved being walking distance to Avanos which had lots of lunch and dinner options just a short stroll away! We hired a car and there was free parking not too far away. The price was incredible value. We cannot recommend it enough!
