TurkeyUnfortunately, like other guests, I also did not know that Sun Hotel is a three-star hotel, and it is my responsibility that I did not read reviews when booking and thought I was going to the boutique hotel En Vie. I have known this place for many years, from when it first opened, and it truly was one of the best restaurant. I perfectly understood what the hotel grounds and beach area were like, and everything suited me. I agree that the hotel needs improvement in cleanliness.
Good match- price and quality for 3 stars hotel! The center of Alanya, the small area on the FIRST COASTLINE, which is a RARITY in Alanya, restaurant service right to the sun loungers - ANOTHER RARITY! I chose this place because of its the perfect location, waking up with a sea view - that's the kind of room I booked for myself. I agree with the reviews that the hotel needs improvement in cleanliness, BUT THIS IS A THREE-STAR HOTEL - AND FOR THREE STARS, IT FULLY MATCHES THE PRICE AND QUALITY. I read reviews and was surprised that people expect a 5-star hotel experience from a budget hotel:))) Personally, I enjoyed my stay, as the booking price was very budget-friendly for such a location and the opportunity to sleep with the sound of the sea, not the road and passing cars. IN ALANYA, THERE ARE VERY FEW HOTELS RIGHT BY THE SEA! For three stars, it's a pretty nice hotel, unfortunately, I've had terrible experiences with three-star hotels in my life. There are many complaints in the reviews that you need to wait a few minutes for the water to get hot😂 Apparently, you do not know that in Turkey almost all houses have a heating boiler and it is normal that after a minute of waiting you get hot water.

Only Private beach and Ms. Fatma, who is the most kindest, neat and clean Hotel Haus keeper lady and the receptionist Mr. Can. Both always were very friendly, kind and polite.

United States of AmericaThe rooms are very noisy. You have peace and quiet for a few hours in the early morning (when most people are sleeping) before the restaurant turns on its all-day music. At night, you have much louder techno music blaring past midnight. Our first night, we were placed in a room next to the kitchen exhaust fan for the restaurant below. When turned on (about 12 hours a day), it physically shakes the room, and you can hear the mirrors and windows vibrating. Luckily, another room opened up for us to stay in the other nights - although it was smaller than what we paid for. The rooms are pretty small, and the bathroom is not the most modern. Hot water takes a while, but the shower pressure is decent. WiFi is working fine but don't expect to stream videos in HD. You get what you pay for, and what you pay for is the incredible view. If you have a car, you will need to fight other tourists for a spot on the street. You may get lucky and find a spot right across the street, or you might have to park several blocks away. The hotel has a small area for 2-3 compact cars right by reception, but these are usually taken.
The physical location is incredible!! The beach rooms offer unbelievable views of the Alanya coastline, harbor, and fortress. Extremely picturesque. There is a lot of great walking areas around the hotel. And you have restaurants, shops, and a grocery store all nearby. Breakfast takes place in a very nice restaurant downstairs - so if you can't book a beach-view room, you can still have great views for breakfast. The breakfast food itself is only okay. The restaurant cooks amazing lunches and dinners, but it doesn't try very hard for breakfast.

United Kingdomwe had a sea view room it was amazing, the room was spacious clean and comfortable. the house keeping lady was lovely and she worked really hard and it showed as the rooms were spotless. all the staff were friendly. the location is great for bars restaurants and shops and of course it is right on the beach. the breakfast was good and the restaurant staff were amazing.
