We tried the hotel restaurant for breakfast on the first morning quite early. The service was hopelessly slow, the coffee was dreadful (in Turkey of all places, where coffee is normally excellent everywhere) so we left without ordering anything. (The nearby Namli Gurme deli/restaurant is a great breakfast alternative.) Also the standard double room, though pleasant, is quite "compact" so there is not a lot of room for luggage.

The location was excellent. Karakoy has a very exciting vibe with lots of young people, especially Turks, on the streets and in the cafes. Access to a main tram line, a ferry stop and the funicular to Istiklal was very convenient The hotel itself, and our room, was very pleasant and clean. The staff were always helpful and responsive.

During our stay, it was raining and our room started getting water inside from the windows. I woke up and I found my luggage full of water, I informed the staff immediately about it and they gave us a very nice room.

The woman at the reception / the one on the night shift - she was so nice and helpful and in such a good mood despite working the night shift every day! great employee. She should definitely get a salary subsidy :)

I chose a Penthouse but the size of the room was too small to call it that. It was a bit expensive for the size. Though it had a balcony but the size of the room was still small for such an amount.

The location of the hotel was great. Near Galata, Emenonu, and Taksim. The hotel breakfast place was on the rooftop and had a beautiful view of Bosphorus on one side and Galata on the other. The room was comfy with a balcony. Good soundproofed windows. Privacy of rooms. Breakfast was wholesome and great. Enjoyed it.

We had plans to use Uber to get a taxi to the aiport but the concierge offered to book us a taxi at a cheaper rate. We got our bags loaded into the car and got in, but then the taxi driver fetched his wallet and the concierge and he conferred behind the car for a while. I thought that was strange but thought no more of it until we had set off and the taxi driver asked us what we had been quoted for the trip and proceeded to tell us that amount was impossible, raised the fee, and also added on a load of toll fees until it was far higher than the uber price. I feel that the concierge got a cut for the taxi ride and he and the taxi driver hustled us for a higher fee. I usually have full trust in hotel staff to provide an honest, quality service, if not necessarily the cheapest so this was a blow to our confidence

Great location! Right on the edge of Karakoy, near the waterfront so easy to access and with great food and shops in the immediate area. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, served to our table in the rooftop restaurant, which was a lovely situation, in the sunshine, looking out over the city. The food was beautiful and plentiful. One of the highlights of our trip. The hotel is well presented, clean and comfortable.

Can’t think of anything as I write this a few days after the stay so must not have been anything of major concern.

Great location, helpful staff, clean rooms with plenty of free wifi and hot water / Air conditioning. Close to base of hill near Galata Tower and short walk from Galata bridge. Would stay here again and for an extra day ….3 days just wasn’t enough (: Also forgot a travel adapter behind…thinking it was lost forever, we went back to reception…they had it for us !! The hotel was located a short walk from Galata tower. Also very close by to the Metro station. Very clean and friendly staff.

The room was facing the road and was very noisy but that was expected since is a busy district.

The location of the hotel is perfect. You have nearby lots of restaurants and bars. Galata Tower is also just a few minutes walk. The Turkish breakfast was delicious, with an amazing view. The staff is very friendly.

Overall, price is a bit above the quality offered: the space between sink, shower and wc are too tight to each other and do not offer enough space for movement. Also, room cleanliness should be improved. If prices were 10-20% cheaper they’d been a bit fairer.

Location is excellent: strategic for all your transfer across the city. It’s in Karaköy, right before the Galata Bridge. Staff is very nice and welcoming: they offered us a room with view on Galata Tower and Soliman’s Mosque for the same price! Rooms offer enough comfort for your stay.

Nothing since all our issues were solved.

Excellent customer service! The manager made everything possible to solve our issues so that we could have a great experience in Istanbul. Our rooms were very clean, the beds very comfortable and breakfast on the roof top was incredible. The roof top restaurant is also very good. Great location to visit the whole city.

Amazing penthouse room, with view to Galata Tower, They allowed us early check-in after a long flight. Incredible Turkish breakfast with a 360 view of the city.
