Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaElevator scared me a bit, not going to lie. Very creaky even when everyone is trying to stay still. The tissue paper in the bathroom was worthless I'm glad I brought wet wipes with me. If I had to use the hotel paper the whole stay it would have been so tragic. Also the pathway around the pool, hot-tub seems very dangerous when we went around it. No one cares for the sign they posted and walked through the door under construction due to lack of walking space or dry safe flooring. Kids liked to block the stairs in and out of the pool. The rain fall experience was extremely lacking and the moon window was weird because children just stare at you through it. We wanted to go to the little coffee shop but it was backed up due to one sole man taking and making the orders themselves. I felt bad for that worker, but we couldn't wait for him. We left the line after another man cut in front of us and we knew we wouldn't get out on time if we waited.
Room was very, very cute. Now I don't usually like fruity chocolate but I did enjoy the one next to the bed. Made exceptional memories on my short visit. The decor was also adorable. I loved how deep both the pool and hot tub got (8ft and 4ft respectfully). It was my first time in the water this summer and I did enjoy it. I'm giving this a 8 out of 10 because the price was reasonable for my stay. And I also had a great time with my two friends I came to see in ST.L!!! I thank all the service workers who helped me during my stay, and I did my best to clean up after us I could.

United States of AmericaThe body wash in shower was empty, and we had to ask a couple times for some type of soap, wash to use - apparently the body wash order did not arrive/ out of stock or something. They were able to find a good solution.
We had my grandaughter (4 yr. old) with us and we did use the pool - enjoyed teaching her how to swim. The hotel was beautiful and fancy (also my grandaughter's words)!

United States of AmericaI had a credit card issue and was extremely tired and discombobulated. The staff was beyond nice and helpful! They were patient while I sorted through the issue and went above and beyond to get my car in valet. The next morning, the front desk staff was again friendly and helpful. The property was nice, but the staff made it 5 star!

United States of AmericaI wanted to get a 30 minute massage and they only had hour massages available. There also wasn’t a microwave to heat up food I took up from the restaurant. While the food was amazing it was very small portions.
Everything! It was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and a great location.

United States of AmericaParking was too expensive. To be paying $588 for 3 nights to end up paying over $100 in parking is ridiculous. You would think a place this nice would feed their customers complimentary breakfast. The pool area is outdated. Could use some work done.
The museum and overall hotel was great. The bed was amazing. Hot tub was very relaxing staff was friendly

United States of AmericaThe room wasn’t the cleanest. There were remnants of others hair as well as stains on the walls and the shower floor wasn’t clean. The elevators had turbulence and that was very scary even for me as an adult.
I loved the pool area and workout facilities.

United States of AmericaCan’t think of anything.
The entire stay was excellent! This hotel is a great. It taps into St. Louis’ art scene, with access to art that you can view at any time, ergo its name. The rooms are spacious and clean, you have access to a gym and pool that are outstanding. My room had a tub, and if you’ve seen most hotel tubs, you don’t dare. But I dared.

United States of AmericaThe bar had a leak and my bag was soaked after dinner. The staff said they had been trying to get a plumber to come fix it, but it would have been nice to have been told or have a sign not to hang my bag there prior.
The food in both the coffee shop and the restaurant was amazing. The cocktails were spectacular and there was a great collection of spirits. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, the museum was a fun walk through. I would come back just for the hospitality of the coffee shop staff alone. The man who delivered our food is such a gem! Loved that there was plenty of seating in the lobby with plugs as well so I could work for a few hours.
