Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI did not like that the front desk wouldn’t answer the phone, also tried contacting room service and there was no answer. Front desk also did not have change for multiple guests that wanted to tip the valet.
Decor, tub in the room and cleanliness. Valet was very nice and gave recommendations on restaurants nearby as well as grocery store.

United States of AmericaNone, that I can think of, none at all.
Room was comfortable. Shower was nice. Separate cubby for luggage, very nice. Common areas for reading or talking with a drink or coffee. The out of way cubbies are a very nice touch too. And! A library, great hotel.

United States of AmericaI almost cancelled our reservation when we arrived Friday evening to find music so loud I could hardly hear reception staff even with the doors closed. What a disappointment! We enjoy dancing ourselves but this music was SO LOUD and it continued past the 8:30pm stop we’d been told would happen. Even in the fine restaurant (our waiter was wonderful) the music was heard too loudly. Truly disappointed. It spoiled our anticipated enjoyment of this historic hotel. And the elderly couple ahead of me in line at reception had to keep asking for instructions to be repeated because they couldn’t hear.

United States of AmericaIt would be a good location due to proximity to the convention center, but there is nothing else nearby. It's a parking lot wasteland.
Superb breakfast with great service, but glad I booked with it included; very expensive.

United States of AmericaThe people in the room next to me were smoking which set off the fire alarm and the announcement to evacuate at 4:30 am. The fire truck had to come. As I’m writing this I realize that it really was a positive because the evacuation was very fast and efficient and the reception staff was able to immediately inform us that it was a false alarm. I wasn’t able to go back to sleep, but this is no reflection on the hotel
I enjoyed my breakfast. The wait staff was very attentive and efficient

United States of AmericaThe bed. The mattress was worn out and the pillows were over sized and hard! We did get the mattress changed on the third day, for which we were thankful.
The location was very near the Convention Center, my number one requirement!! The restaurant was a bit pricey, but was delicious and convenient!!

United States of AmericaThe female at reception/check in was unwelcoming and set the tone for my stay. When I got to my room the tv did not work and I did not want to call for help as I assumed I would have to speak with the female at reception/check in.

United States of AmericaThe surrounding downtown area is pretty deserted during weekends. But the area isn't quiet: Loud cars and/or motorcycles use nearby streets/parking to race/speed (though amusingly they stopped by 10pm both nights we were there). The room was somewhat less polished vs. the lobby and public spaces: some room features are more recently updated than others, nothing that seriously impacts comfort.
Beautiful historic property. Proximity to train station also nice.

CanadaGiven the ornate shared space, I was surprised to see how characterless the actual hotel room is. The bed is comfortable and the room adequately specious but the bathroom was a bit cramped.
The lobby is beautiful with a variety of small alcoves all decorated differently in which to enjoy drinks. Interesting artwork on the walls and a library for some quiet time. I did not have dinner in the restaurant but the menu looked great and the small appetizer I had was delicious.

United States of AmericaThe room was smaller than I expected, and the view was of the a/c units on the roof.
The hotel is gorgeous, really lovely, and the restaurant is very nice. It was quiet at night, and I felt very safe. It's without a doubt the most charming hotel in Albuquerque. The neighborhood is ok.

United States of AmericaThe room was close to the elevator, and the beeping from the elevator could be heard inside the room. The room also had a door to an adjoining room (which was locked, ofcourse), but a big gap under the door let light from the other room into mine. Noise from the guests in the adjoining room returning in the middle of the night was also disruptive.
Location was good, staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable.

United States of AmericaI pulled up to unload and was promptly told by the bellhops that they were filled up and out of luggage carts. It was very inconvenient trying to figure out how to unload and carry our bags in. The door people weren’t very helpful. I carried my bags into the lobby myself.
Very well decorated and clean. Good location downtown, there was water stations and coffee in the morning. Check in was quick and they were polite.
