Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaSwanky spot. Close to 2 metro stops. Bookshop, coffee house, and Toasted Owl essentially on site. Downtown (stadiums, museums) not within walking distance. Front desk very helpful and friendly.

United States of AmericaThis is a very nice place close to Grand Canyon University. It is very clean and nicely decorated. The room is nice with a souwthwestern touch. It has a large TV and a nice Marshall music bluetooth box with very nice quality sound. You can have vinyl records to play in your room from their very large collection. The staff is super frienldy. The complimentary posicles were a nice touch.

United States of AmericaThe pool drink options and no coffee in the room!
I loved the bed, super comfy, the shower, and the decor of the room. The room itself though, was small. The location of the hotel was perfect, almost centrally located between Glendale and Scottsdale. The pool area was great just need to drink choices that are more basic.

United States of AmericaPretty pricey given the location is kind of far from certain landmarks, but it seems hotel prices are higher than I anticipated in Phoenix. Pool towels were a bit tired/thin.
Clearly a lot of work went into the renovation of an older structure into something new/artistic. Fun thoughtful aesthetic in the rooms and lobby; the energy was wonderful. Rooptof bar sophisticated yet welcoming with an engaged staff. Pool area is simple, but effective with a kind/attentive waitress. Several very good restaurants nearby.

An incredibly cute and fun hotel! Located in a great location with a fantastic bar and staff. Our room was clean and we loved all of the little details. The popsicles were a unique touch and is one of our favorite hotels in AZ.

United KingdomTo the west, the area is more downtrodden, but to the east, there is a lovely shopping area with a fantastic store (about 3/4 mile away).
It was a fun hotel and if you needed anything, you text the concierge who is very responsive. Ice is by text, plus an iron even though there's a steamer in the room (good for a holiday break, not great for a work visit). I loved that they had a kettle, again booked by concierge! Good breakfast at the Owl (forgotten the full name) on the same complex. The pool bar is great, but as with many places in Phoenix, closes at 9pm. The roof top bar is open though, but only at the end of the week, so check out opening times. The rooms were lovely, just my kind of deco. Staff were excellent. A good stay but maybe not for business travellers.

United States of AmericaMy only complaint is that it is impossible to locate. Although it is where Google maps says it is. There is no outdoor lighting and the hotel has more than one name and the one I used was not at street level, but at top of building. It looked closed except it had a popcycle store lite up. I stopped hoping to get directions and it was their lobby.
I was surprised at how nice it was for the price I paid. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It is next to a pool park (not included) that is well appointed. The staff was really nice. The shower was unexpectedly wonderful.

CanadaWe ran into a lot of issues including default heating, inactive safe, etc. But they were quick to change our room and give us a credit.
The hotel is beautiful. I love the decor. It's pretty well located depending on what your plans are. For us it was close to everything and there were so many cute restaurants and shops around. The hot tub was super nice as well. The staff was amazing! We had a few issues and they resolved it quickly and in a satisfying way. The popsicles are a great touch as was the bottle to celebrate
