United States of AmericaThe Clydesdale Family was staying in the upstairs unit had 9 people and no sound insulation between floors. I would never stay here again in a lower unit. The living room couch needed to be replaced years ago - the internal structure was so compromised it was dangerous to even sit on it. The unit needs a fresh coat of paint on all the trim.
The location was great, as it was close to great beaches and an excellent area for walking. The lanai was peaceful with beautiful landscaping—a quiet decompression place. The condo was clean and provided a much better experience than any hotel room.

United States of AmericaThe late check in is a little bit complicated… you arrive super tired and then you have to call a person , etc… you don’t expect to do this until you get there… Smell of the sheets were NOT nice , like they were not washed or not super clean. I really disliked this. Advise the staff to double check this .
Location is perfect . Access to the beach , 5 Min walking… Space in the House are very well distributed . the house is very comfortable and well equipped Beach equipment is a Plus The pools are marvelous ! Staff is kind and supportive !

United States of AmericaThe unit we stayed in was tired and had not been painted in a decade. The furniture was fraying and the carpet was disgustingly stained. The bed in the primary suite was old, lumpy and in need of replacement. The kitchen utensils were an odd assortment.
The location was excellent, especially if you have a car. The layout of the unit was great within walking distance to several beaches and some eateries which was good! Poipu Kai staff were very nice and helpful. On the whole a positive experience, except for the condition of the unit. Would return to this complex...not the unit!

Walking distance from beaches, close to shopping and restaurants..very convenient location. Clean and pretty landscaping. No AC which I would have preferred but that's something that many places in Hawaii dont have so I expected no AC.... but I appreciated that there was a cooling system in the living area which helped alot after a day of sun. I appreciated the beach chairs, which was very useful!

The apartment was well-supplied and spacious. We were so comfortable there! The walk to the beach was about 12 minutes and was through beautiful gardens. The pool was so close to our room and was great!
