The hotel needs to upgrade some things. Coaxial cable TV, that loses signal every few minutes. Switched rooms and it didn't help. Internet based with HDMI cables would have probably been better.

Great room, ocean view. Ample parking, even with a convention using the hotel. The staff was exceptional. The hotel restaurant was fantastic. Even though we didn't eat breakfast there, we had dinner from the restaurant several times. Hats off to the chef(s). Top-notch food! Keep it up!

The shower head needs to be updated, was very disappointed with the way the water was coming out even when you try to adjust the settings on the shower head. For the money we as customers have to pay, the shower heads needs to be ungraded.

The location to the beach can’t be beat. The beach bar outside the hotel was great, but pricey.

It was a little steep in terms of pricing - $400 for one night, and even though the stay was great, I wouldn’t say it was worth that. The morning of mt checkout the fire alarm went off. Not the property’s fault, but after the evacuation they didn’t extend the time for breakfast so I didn’t get to go. Also be sure not to visit Molly’s - not directly attached to the hotel but the staff will point in that direction because it’s right behind the property. The staff at the restaurant is prejudiced against Black people.

The beds and pillows are sooo comfortable. The staff was also super nice. I got in town a couple of hours early and they accommodated with an early check in. They also have warm cookies at the front desk! The location is perfect because it’s like having the beach literally in your backyard.

Room 302 needs a little work. The shower curtain in the bathroom is torn at the top and the hooks are barely holding up the curtain. In addition, the toilet paper holder doesn’t hold the roll on and the toilet paper roll falls into the trash can often. Also, the handle on the sliding glass door needs tightening.

The location and the friendliness of the staff were the best features. I also liked the way the property was set up, how it was organized.

Unfriendly front desk staff. The decor is a bit dated. The mattress was super lumpy and uncomfortable. The water pressure was poor. The bathroom was quite small. The hotel does not rent beach umbrellas nor chairs during the week. The website should’ve indicated such. Dollar General, needless to say, was doing a brisk business with the hotel’s guests.

Great location, good parking, wonderful oceanfront view, nice beach, pier, Molly’s for lunch and drinks, huge flat screen with a great picture. The hotel is close to Beaufort and Morehead City and many attractions. There are many parks, shops, restaurants and brew pubs within 15 minutes of the hotel. The room a/c worked well. The elevators were quick and convenient. The room was super clean.

Food was okay. Chili cheese dogs served at Mollys were not edible to my group, cost was super high for us. Buffet at breakfast was high for no more than they had on it. Towels were available at front desk not pool area.

Oceanfront room was just what I needed. It was wonderful. Clean and staff were so helpful. It was close to beach and the pools were clean. I will be back next time I come this way. I have already recommended it to my friends, family and co workers. So much fun.

The coffee wasn't available until 7, and there were not always sleeves for the cups available. Housekeeping did not leave extra toilet paper when they cleaned our room. Luckily, we didn't run out until just before we left. The room had a smell. It wasn't a "by the beach" smell. It was more of a urine smell. I believe it was by the door. It may have been a pet thing. One of our plugs did not work, so we were one light down, and the coffee pot did not work. Thank goodness there was free coffee in the lounge. Lastly, there was not a chair on the balcony. Most of these are very picky complaints, and we did enjoy our stay. It is just with the name Doubletree and Hilton that our expectations were high.

Liked the location, and the front desk was nice. Free coffee in the morning was nice. The view was wonderful.

ALL of the staff at Mollys were very rude, unfriendly, the could’t get anything right, they acted like they didn’t even want to be there.  I would suggest complete retraining for everyone, Customer Service should be at the top of their list, more pay to help boost morale.

Toilet was clogged when we arrived. Took several hours to get someone to the room. Whoever tried to correct the problem cleared the bowl of any solids but the next attempt to use the toilet same result. To avoid sleeping in a room with fecal matter in the toilet bowl we had to go to the lobby to use the restroom.

At first glance of our room I noticed large amounts of pet hair on the carpet, I can understand some pet hair bc it’s a pet friendly hotel, but this was larrrrge amounts of clearly visible white hair on dark carpet. The next thing I noticed was once I opened the curtain to my ocean view the entire left side of the curtain brackets fell out of the ceiling which then dangled the entire curtain heavily to the floor. I called the front desk and immediately told them in which they quickly had maintenance come and fix it (which was great! And very much appreciated) but I couldn’t help but wonder the quality and safety of my room afterwards. On our last day we were woken at 3am to a fire alarm and exited the building with our 2 small children. Thankfully it was a false alarm and no one was hurt, but it’s still the fact of annoyance and inconvenience.

The cleanliness of the common area were not much to desire! The walls and doors needed cleaning and painting! Also we waited 7 minutes at the restaurant inside and still saw no hostess. however others were waiting 15 to 20 minutes. Then someone came down with her food from room service and said we shouldn’t eat there her food was bad. So we went to a diner.

The location is perfect! The beach is perfect and Molly’s is good.
