Great location, very close to town and Acadia National Park. Very good continental breakfast included in the price. Beverages and snacks available in the lobby all day. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms and dining area were kept very clean. The property was renovated with a kitschy theme that livened up our stay. The complimentary breakfast was great, and having games available to play on a rainy day was a very nice touch.

It was a little too far from downtown to walk comfortably after a busy day, but a very short drive.

The room was very comfortable and much larger than we expected. We enjoyed the breakfast and opportunity to wash our clothes midway through our trip.

Not really a fan of the "motel" setup but our room was way in the back so we were happy that it wasn't close to the highway.

Breakfast was more than anticipated. Not the same every day. Lots of dining room for guests.

Handicapped bars next to toilet would have been much appreciated.

Loved the location (close to Acadia) and the staff did a wonderful job correcting an online mix-up in the reservations. While the bookings were not close together and one of us had to use a different motel the first night, our experience was a good one. The staff went our of their way to find new accommodations for one of us when the second room was not available the first night and made certain it was OK for the second.

Super clean, comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Location is good, except that if you go downtown Bar Harbor you have to pay for parking, so a downtown hotel is better for that, but there's nothing one can do about it.

Very congested breakfast area. So they provide nice packaging for taking it back to your room if you want. I wonder if configuring an L-shaped instead of the square food area would help? Anyway, good for them, they’re a huge success.

Best continental breakfast I’ve ever seen. They even had udis gluten-free chocolate muffins.

The shower mechanism needed adjusting to increase water pressure.

Breakfast was continental as advertised and sufficient. The property was very clean and staff was seen wiping off common area tables after rain at a time of season where it was unlikely any guests would even use them which indicated motivated management.

We went in Oct, and the slight drawback was walking to the lobby for breakfast in the morning cool weather.

We were so impressed by Bar Harbor Hotel ! At first I was apprehensive, because of the retro look of the hotel, but when we entered the room. We were pleasantly surprised how cute this place was. It had all the amenities of chain hotels, but the charm of an B&B. Close to all restaurants and attractions, but far away from the hectic traffic and noise.

Semi private cottage style housing. Laundromat on premises. Great breakfast, and snacks, cookies, drinks provided all day and evening. Games to borrow, Jack o’lanterms to carve. Just a fun place.

Very functional and clean room although dated. Bed was comfortable, and everything in the room worked. The breakfast was great for a motel. Despite it being close to the main road, the room was set back enough, so it was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Great value for the money!

single use plates, seems to be common practices in the area, which is a pity for the environment.
