Breakfast was basic but fine. Offered a variety including fresh fruit. Many individuals packaged items which was nice for food safety but did produce paper trash.

We only stayed one night. We hiked two days in Baxter State Park, so we were late to check-in and very early to check out the next day. The hotel was a good place for the family to rest. The staff was excellent and very helpful with several of our requests or needs. One example was the fact we would be checking out before the morning breakfast offered opened. So the night before, they opened the breakfast room to allow us to get breakfast items that we could heat in our room's microwave before heading back to Baxter for a second day of hiking.

Our only concern was the ice machine. It was pretty dirty, so much so that I was concerned to use it in my pack because of mold or ecoli. I give that feedback because the owners clearly care about the quality and cleanliness of their business and we hope to see it continue to succeed

The hotel has a really outdated feel to it. The carpeting in the room was dark and I wasn't comfortable walking on it barefoot. There was no fan in the bathroom so showering resulted in a thick layer of steam. While I liked having a refrigerator in the room, it dripped incessantly making it difficult to sleep.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were quite friendly and I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood near the hotel. It's a short drive to the downtown business area, and the restaurants there were quite good. The washer and dryer were both good-sized and worked very well.

My wife and I do not eat flour or sugar products due to food allergies. Therefore we could not eat any of the breakfast items offered except fresh bananas. We would appreciate if you could offer plain yogurt and unsweetened oatmeal as an option, if possible.

No shower curtain (not that big of a deal), no view except a parking lot, (but that's not what was advertised), so again no big deal. They DID have a pool and a dry sauna but didn't we get a chance to use them. The front desk gal was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating!

Easy to find, comfortable dining room with the morning news on television. You could have hot coffee, cereal, oatmeal, English muffins, bananas, and yogurt - just right :-)

Family owned and operated, they live on site along with three cats, one of whom greeted me in the lobby. Appreciated the room decor of Baxter State Park themed photos by locals. Good self serve breakfast.
