In the midst of renovation, lots was off: no hangers, cover worn off desk chair. Marker scribbles on light shades. Breakfast (thin offering) "creamer" was a jug of 2% milk on the counter.

Good price, bed was comfy. Front desk clerk was friendly. Lobby seating looked comfy.

Very dated, old decor, unclean carpets, in desperate need of money injection and updating. Housekeeping did not attempt to freshen room in 3 night stay, walls thin, able to hear next rooms tv/snoring, fridge noisy all night so I unplugged it, bedding visually clean but undressed. You get what you pay for.

Good location to amenities nearby and highways. Bathroom clean. Staff friendly on arrival and checking out. Bed wonderfully comfortable.

It is an older facility and wallpaper was coming off in two of the corners. That is the only negative I can think of and is not a game changer for me staying there again.

Location was convenient for what I needed to get done. Staff was awesome. The first night I realized I had no coat hangers. Within 30 minutes a gentleman, I cannot remember his name, was there with coat hangers. He was very friendly and positive.

The carpet in the hallway on the 3 rd floor was a trip hazard. Too many wrinkles. The breakfast area was supposed to be open 7-9am. On our Sunday which was last weekend it wasn’t open by 0830 so we went to IHOP instead.

The Halloween decorations were fun. The staff at the front desk were friendly. The rooms were clean.

The key card was difficult to use. Many guest had issues with getting into their hotel.

The location was good. Only 15 minutes from Hartford. Providence RI was only an hour and half away.

Breakfast bag was kind of scant: bottle of water, pack of Capri Sun, small breakfast bar, cookie pack, 2 pancakes. I stayed 2 nights, my room wasn't cleaned during the first day. Would only have been an issue if I'd used up soap or the like.

Hotel building very solid, couldn't hear anything from adjoining rooms. Occasional noise through the door from the hall, but nothing excessive. Convenient to I-84 ramps but out of range of highway noise.

The fire alarm went off after my morning shower. The breakfast was horrible. I had expected a real breakfast not a breakfast snack in a bag. Also , you could have had a sample of toothpaste in the bathroom

When we arrived on a Friday afternoon, there was a strong odor of marijuana. The hotel website still advertises breakfast buffet, but the breakfast area is closed and instead you get a bag with a small granola bar, rice krispy treat, mini pancakes and capri Sun fruit punch . They don’t even offer coffee in the lobby. The rooms are fine , beds comfortable, good size, mini fridge and microwave, but desk chairs and desk/dressers were worn and shabby.

Location was convenient for the family wedding celebration we attended. It was close to beautiful Wickham Park, very nice playground at North West Park, Big Y supermarket short walk away. Beds were comfortable. Desk clerk and housekeeping staff were helpful. Price was very reasonable- half of what our relatives paid at a nearby hotel, so a good value.

I've been staying at this hotel for months (working in the area). I like the location, it saves me a lot of money, the beds are comfy, and the staff are great. After a really long week I decided to spend the extra money and get the suite with the whirlpool tub. I get to the room and find an "out of order" sign on the tub. The only reason I booked that room! I called the desk and was told that the hot water line wasn't working and nobody could come until the next day. I got an apology. No refund for the extra money I paid specifically for the whirlpool tub. No offer to switch rooms. Just "yea, sorry". Really disappointing.

Depressing decor. The place feels trapped in a sad time warp. I had the impression that it has not changed in 20 years. The TV was a tube TV at least ten years out of date. The furniture is old, with dark wood that is not in keeping with general preference for bright, light wood these days. The hallway was dingy and smelled of spilled beer. The smell may have been a temporary problem, but the dinginess is not.

Room was OK, everything was functional (TV, WiFi, shower, hot water, bed, etc.).
