I didn't like the room we were in for New Years dinner, as it was the banquet room and just felt cold and non personal. Dinner was amazing, but quite expensive if you're from Canada (for New years dinner anyways) we didn't have any other meals there. But otherwise a great experience. We would totally recommend and for sure go back! So many cool places nearby to visit! Old town, fairhaven, downtown.

This is an amazing hotel with attention to details. Super friendly staff. Location was great for being on the water and walking. At least 6 restaurants/coffee places within two minute walking distance. Sushi restaurant nearby has a sushi train, and prices were on on the lower side. Coffee place a few doors down, had great coffee, but super expensive! Hotel has great coffee for free in the lobby, and great cookies in the afternoon. Restaurant at the hotel was amazing for New years Dinner, although the ambiance wasn't the greatest as we were put into the banquet room, but service and food was amazing! Would highly recommend!

The food at LIghthouse Grill was awful. Breakfast Eggs Benedict practically inedible. Wish I’d sent it back.

Beautiful room, comfy bed, nice seating in living room, which was sunken. Nice little lanai. Full view of water, marina, islands.

Still have not been reimbursed for an event that was canceled due to rain. Took $80 via credit card at the entry and it immediately started to rain. We were then told it was being canceled. We asked for our $ back and were told we would (several times) but that they "have not figured out how to reimburse us"..??

Room was large with separate kitchenette with dining table, a large bathroom with jetted tub. Sleeping area that overlooks a sunken living room with fireplace and lots of seating. Balcony that overlooks the marina and a beautiful sunset

Rented a room with a balcony, very nice- except every time I went outside, within 5 minutes a loud vent fan kicked on with the added benifit of blasting warm air on me. Seems pointless to have a balcony if I’m driven off it when I try and use it.

Very nice property w on-site restaurant

A little disappointed in restaurant at hotel. Service was excellent but food was expensive for what we got. Crab and lobster salad bland. But otherwise loved the view and ambience.

Lovely grounds and view of the water. Parking garage below was convenient. Jacuzzi tub a bonus treat!

I wish the bathroom didn't have shutters that opened into the main room. Yes, you can close them, but doing so is not as sound- and light-proof as, say, a wall. I'll never understand why any architect thought this was a good design choice. I guess it's supposed to enable you to enjoy the view while bathing, but once in the tub, you are too low to see anything anyway. All this design does is make the bathroom less private and more awkward.

The grounds are gorgeous. My husband and I sat on the expansive patio and watched the sunset. The hotel and restaurant staff were excellent. There is a walking path that passes just in front of the motel that goes around the marina to a lovely park. The hotel is just minutes away from Bellingham.

Our room didn’t receive room service until I complained. Then the complaint wasn’t reported to the manager as promised. When I checked out I spoke to the front desk who apologized and credited $75 to the bill. I’m from CA so after paying $3100 for a week I thought that was not great. But it wouldn’t deter me from staying there again. We had a good time.

Location was excellent. View of marina and entertainment from our room

The only downfall is the price. It's a bit steep on a per night basis, but I guess it's okay to splurge sometimes.

The room was immaculate- extremely clean and an incredible view of the marina and bay. At the lighthouse restaurant, the halibut fish and chips was to die for.
