Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Too bad it’s a bit secluded. We arrived at 9:45pm and couldn’t get food anywhere close.
Very nice people at the front desk. Nice soft bed. Clean room. It was a good stay! Would recommend!

the hot tub should be inside or enclosure with more protection from the very cold weather. altitude is quite difficult to adjust to

The outdoor hot tub was having filter issues. Too much chemicals to make it usable. Some of the top floor rooms are not serviced by the elevator. Had to unload our gear from the luggage cart, go up stairs, and carry to our room at the end of the hall.
Great location, On site restaurant, free shuttle Nice staff.

Could have used more toiletries in the bathroom, including toilet paper. Would have been nice to have a couple of water bottles in the room. Could have also used a couple of extra blankets.

They forgot to put a top sheet on one bed and I wished they used bar soap for the bathroom to wash hands.
The rooms were spacious. We loved the outdoor hot tub and the fact that they had a nice bar and grill on property.

The water was ice cold for a couple days. I contacted guest services and they eventually fixed it.
The bed was comfortable and it was a beautiful view.

I was on the second floor so it sounds very loud in the room above me one night, like a group of elephants having a rave after midnight.
It was very cozy and close to the mountain. The streets were plowed well even during a storm.

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable. No sponge in the suite to wash dishes. No extra pillows available. Wait times for the restaurant were very long. Had to wait an hour to be seated, then another hour for food. That’s tough with kids. Not enough for older kids to do. Should have pool table available for under 21. Tried to make a reservation for New Years Eve but no one ever responded to my email.
Food was decent. Fire pit bar was nice. Main bedroom was comfortable. Loved the free coffee.

No coffee maker in rooms! I think that is the first hotel I have never had a coffee maker in. You can tell they really are cutting corners now that it is not run by Best Western. They don't even do a complimentary breakfast anymore.

Property was good , but restaurant food was really bad , absolutely unhealthy food , absolutely unhealthy breakfast. And fire pit not working outside. I don’t understand that , because after sunset it was perfect seat on a balcony with fire. I think guys you need get a good manager for hotel! Because building really nice !

Bit strange that there was a set of stairs in the middle of the floor on the way to our room. Could occasionally hear noise from upstairs
Complimentary tea and coffee was nice. Friendly and welcoming staff. Spacious and nicely renovated. Short walk to a small general store.

It was off season when we were here - maybe therefore it all looked a bit run down. When we came to the room we figured out that the bed was still dirty from the guests before. Spa area is nice but also quite run down.
Very nice location which we used for a stopover. Cool building in this typical ski lodge timber style.

Restaurant is not open for breakfast on weekdays. As well the pool / spa was closed.

The bed was as hard as a rock! I hardly slept all night because my bones would ache and wake me up.
The lodge is beautiful, and the restaurant had good food at reasonable prices. The receptionist was very helpful.
