Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Things i already knew about from the reviews, but very dated and not the cleanest. but for the price i will probably stay here again next year. Our room also had double beds not queens as i expected.
The owner was very friendly and helpful!! We also loved the location, but you no longer have any ocean view. There is a multi-story condo complex being built across the street.

This definitely was not a 5 star resort, but if you are not looking for that. You will love this place. They did have nicer rooms than ours, but we travel cheap.
I loved the location. The room we stayed in was comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. It was also great to have a small convenient store on site. We used the grill several times during our stay. It was always clean and ready to use.

Room was old, Bathroom needed to be replaced. TV needed and upgrade Check-In/Check Out hours were limiting Privately held, they make their own rules as opposed to a larger Hotel chain.

Bathroom window missing a glass slat, screen didn't fit the window. The window wouldn't close because the crank handle was striped.. the carpet needs replace it was disgusting. Needs updated badly.

Was not allowed to smoke anywhere but om the parkinglot. But was No ashtrey. And No garbage with the pool

Room a bit old and dirty. Bathroom really small. Room on the main road.

The room was smaller than expected, our bed was broken (although they got new beds the day that we left), only one of the lamps in our room worked, the microwave took a long time to heat anything up, the pictures of the room showed a couch (and we requested a couch but didn't get one) but the room doesn't even have room for a couch so I'm not sure if that's an old picture or false advertising, and I just expected the room itself to be a little bit nicer.
The staff was nice, and the pool was great because they kept it clean and had a nice little hut that we could sit and eat lunch under.

I found the pool a little cold. Pool is not heated but extremely clean. I guess in the summer it’s quite comfortable. We went in February.
Location was excellent near beach and not far from Pompano Pier. I liked the owners who go out of their way to help with any demand we had. Jackie, the cleaning lady was always ready to give us towels or any necessities. Beds were comfortable and linen super clean.

It is dirty! The floors had not been swept in days. Every crook is stuffed with dirt. The sink in bathroom is full of scum. It needs bleach and scrubbing. I am not sure how dirty the bathshower is because it is black but the drain had hairs. The toilet seat needs fixing.
It is a great location but staying in the room means the passing cars can be heard. I am glad for hurricane windows. The setup is very nice. There are two TVs with access to all the channels. The temperature in room is awesome. Access to the beach is also great. The people are nice.

No what I was expecting based on the pictures. it was more like a motel vs hotel.
The location about 15 min walk to the beach & the convenient store downstairs.
