The bathroom. Please tell me prior to booking that it is an ADA room

Have stayed at CH before, booked direct-beautiful room and bathroom. This time booked with Bookings.com….no where did it state the room we selected was ADA/handicap. The shower was one part of the bathroom floor, 18 inches wide and a long draping shower curtain. One could barely turn around without hurting elbow. The sink was tiny, if faucet was on low, it ran all over the counter and made a mess. I asked to be moved to a different room and was told all queen beds are ADA. Had I known this, I would have selected a king room. Either C House did not provide Bookings with the complete info or Bookings did not add that info.

There was nothing negative about our accommodations or stay.

From the minute we walked in, until the time we checked out, we were pampered. Everything was beyond our expectations, something we truly appreciate when we travel. Our room was beautiful and very quiet and comfortable. We liked having the Field Taphouse so nearby, and the lovely. Dining room for breakfast.

The lights were a bit odd to get use to as they were touch screen. I think it’s a neat addition but not a beginner friendly system.

The staff were a mix, mostly pleasant and no one was rude. The person at checkout was a little cranky and our waitress was over the top gushy. The changes to the restaurant were a disappointment, and the restaurant used to be one of the main reasons people stay here. It is not really convenient to dine elsewhere because of the location. We had cocktails that were watery and tasteless. The menu is completely changed. The food is very good but quite expensive and the ambience is gone. The patio seating is still there, but the dining room is now a pub, dominated by the bar. The new dining room is the former library where I recall having drinks before dinner. The room is now very dark, decorated with padded walls, artificial flowers, marble tables, no tablecloths. The breakfast menu is limited and the coffee weak and not very hot. We would stay there again but probably make plans to dine elsewhere.

The hotel has been completely redecorated since our last stay, perhaps a little too much of a decorator look, but the rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Our room did not have a bathtub. I didn’t think to ask ahead if there are still rooms with tubs.

Would love to order an after dinner drink even if after 9PM.

Top notch. Clean, welcoming, beautiful decor. Staff all were a pleasure and on point, every member of the team we interacted with. Felt "home-like" and will be back! And truly Love the location. So close to the action but nestled away to more tranquility.

The dinner was not very good. The location of the faucet in the wash basin is really incredible. As long as it is used, a lot of water will leak along the countertop to the ground because the faucet is too far away from the sink.

Dinner at Grace restaurant in the Carnegie House is a bit pricy but worth every penny. Breakfast was just as nice. Both server's were menue knowledgeable and provided excellent service.

I wish I was shown how to use the Do Not Disturb button. Also, complementary breakfast was advertised, but that wasn't the case. (Very minor things, which don't diminish my excellent stay.)
