Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe hotel is very noisy until after midnight.
The hotel is unique. Part art gallery part museum part plain made having a beautiful breakfast in the courtyard with pool and fountains you are transported back to Ancient Greece.

The property is stunning. Location is great and the restaurant was wonderful. However, as hotel guests you are supposed to get preferential seating at dinner, this was not the case despite communicating with them multiple times by email.

United KingdomThe lounge is in the courtyard so you can hear loud music from the room until late. Think they turned off the dance music around 11pm and it was still noisy. To be fair if you’re staying on south beach, noise is inevitable. We used earplugs and they definitely helped!
Beautiful decor. Stunning colors and art style. It’s a villa with history and stories. The roof top is a surprising plus as you get to oversee Miami Beach with a nice cocktail in your hand. And the cocktails were delicious!

United KingdomThe hostesses at the entrance were very unwelcoming and even though we were there for 3 days they never once recognised us as guests. We got a feeling that they felt they were better than us. Not one smile!
The hotel was amazing and our room was one of a kind. The staff on reception were very friendly and well done to the bell boy for carrying our masses of luggage up the stairs. The staff in the restaurant couldn't of done enough to make us more comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were amazing and felt so priveleged to be able to swim in the pool when the restaurant was closed.

United KingdomThe breakfast was a bit of a let down in comparison to the standard of food served in the evening & it was just average which was a disappointing end to stay, i always think a good breakfast is important as it is the last impression a guest has of your property, we also had no hot water in our room which was not ideal considering you return from beach sweaty & sandy yet despite reporting it several times we were not offered an alternative room, upon leaving we complained and we were compensated but it sadly tarnished the memory of our stay which was not expected at a hotel of this calibre. It could of & shouldve been a WoW experience !
Well this little piece of history is everything you expect it to be, you can feel the amazing creativeness throughout with delightful architectural design and detailing everywhere you turned. The restaurant was fabulous, our outstanding server Johnathan sat us near to the mosaic swimming pool & the food we had was superb all beautifully presented especially the Expresso Martinis went down a treat. We stayed for a 30th birthday and it was certainly a memorable experience for the birthday boy.

IsraelThis property is not really run as a hotel. It is more of a bar- nightclub and restaurant venu. Rooms are extreamly noisy until at least 3:00am, so beware: if you are looking for peace and quiet do not go there. The room we got had a bad oder probably originating from the kitchen vents bellow. Also, opening the windows was not really an option and there was definately no view. The lovely swiming pool can scarcely be used by hotel guests as the deck beside it is used as a packed restaurant floor.
This is a beautiful property with historic value, located in the midst of the lively Ocean Drive. Rooms are lavishly furnished with original pieces.

United States of AmericaThe room in which I stayed “Garden suite” smelled a tad bit musty, the up keep of the mansion desperately needs some tender loving care, the rooftop area is unexceptional! Pieces of broken wood thrown in various places, a wooden door off the hinges laid across the floor, patio furniture unkept, debris everywhere..Didn’t enjoy being eyed by the staff upon coming & going into the mansion & repeatedly stopped to be asked if I have a reservation. An arm band, sticker or something need to be set in place for guests that are actually staying overnight so as not to feel harassed all day everyday of your stay..
The finishing in the mansion were superb, I really enjoyed the pool it was very beautiful..The nightlife energy inside and out of the mansion was awesome because I am a night owl on trips such as this..

United KingdomThe room smelt damp and fusty, overall it felt the building just needed a little maintenance, it’s beautiful just a little rough around the edges (peeling wallpaper, chipped doors/walls). we arrived late after long delays and were very jet lagged, so we’re hoping to enjoy a luxury room with a bit of room service - however the only food available was that off the normal menu which is a little much to eat in bed, and the rooms all looked over the courtyard in which was a open to the public and was a very very lively party. had we arrived under different circumstances we would have enjoyed this but we couldn’t sleep until gone midnight because of how loud it was. it just didn’t feel like a very welcoming, luxury and relaxing place to sleep… if that’s what you are looking for. also the room amenities we’rent great - no ceiling light in our room, just 2 bedside lamps so it was very dark in the evening.
The architecture is stunning, it really is a gorgeous building with lots of history

United States of AmericaThe staff never remembered who we were although we were paying for the best suite in the hotel for multiple days. Every time we left the hotel they stopped us from entering (the staff that guards the gate) to ask if we had a dinner reservation. When you are paying over $2000 a night the hotel staff should not stop you like that. At other luxury hotels of relative pricing, the staff would even remember your name and greet you. Also, the hotel staff didn't inform us that two people recently committed suicide in our room (the Villa suite) in the same bed we were in. I understand hotels don't have to disclose that so I just chalk that up to me not doing specific enough research.
The breakfast was great and the hotel is beautiful.

United KingdomI am really nitpicking here, but a couple of reflections. Dinner is served until late so there was loud noise of people chattering until about 12.30am. This didn't especially bother me but worth noting if you like to go to bed early. One other thing, the hotel entrance is shared with the restaurant, so, particularly as a young solo guest, I kept being challenged upon entry - I would have preferred a private entrance for residents. I did also have to walk through the restaurant during diner service in order to access my room. Neither of these things impacted on my enjoyment of my stay, but are worth noting.
The building and it's heritage is absolutely incredible. The design is absolutely flawless and an absolute feast for the eyes. Pool is available for use between 7am and 4pm. If you can get up early to use it, do. I went down at about 7.30am and had the entire pool to myself for about 2 hours. Outside of those hours, there will be people eating breakfast and/or lunch, so less private. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in. The staff were very helpful. Complementary bottle of prosecco in the room was also a nice touch. Breakfast was great too. I will return, next time I am in Miami.
